Well, not the first post I wanted to make here, but I'm obviously in the right place and could really use some direction from you all.
I signed up here because I want to get decent at HUSNGS, I know they are not impossible but after today, I'm not so sure. fwiw I've watched all of RyPac's $11 and $6.50 videos as well as psimalives $23's.
However, I played 50 husngs today and it didn't go so great
19 $11.50's (turbo) - $86.50 (-7.52 buyins)
19 $10.50's - $19.50 (-1.9 buyins)
10 $6.25s (turbo) - $2.5 (-0.4 buyins)
2 $5's - +$9.50 (+1.9 buyins)
I know I sound like a huge donk right now, I really just am curious if this could be typical varience? I don't have many under my belt so today was a shot in the nuts forsure, going to go watch the video's again and stick to $6 turbos until I figure these babies out.
I feel I have a good understanding of end game concepts as I've worked a lot with end game issues in regular 9 man turbo sit and go's, but just really shit the bed.
I'm using HEM manager at the table for stats as well as to keep track of my ROI and results, obviously will need to get a couple hundred out of the way before that comes together.
This isn't something you should expect to see every day, but it isn't something abnormal either. I don't think I could count how many 8BI downswings I've had.

I wouldn't feel so bad if these guys were half good, but their brutal, just frusterated I guess.
Mad respect to anyone here crushing above the $11's
I had the same problem coming up and it was very frustrating, to say the least.
The one piece of advice I would have for you, is that you just have to keep studying the game and making improvements. Eventually you hit the right "level" of skill and focus (and variance, variance is a beast of a thing) and success starts to happen. Just make sure when success happens, and it will, that you continue to improve your game. That's the most important thing I failed to excercise coming up the ranks, continuous studying of the game.
Try posting a hand or two in the forum as well.
50 in a day seem a lot if you are trying to learn, seems like the time would be better spent going over hand histories. Just my opinion. Are you multi tabling? Try playing 5, non turbos, play every hand as well as you can. Afterwards go over every hand you played.
I feel that going over hand histories is one of the most valuable things you can do, and i am such a hipocrite because i have never done it. I dont even think i know how, lol. I wish i did it. Ive tryed to stick them in a replayer but i can never get it to work. Anyone want to recomend the best way to do it...
