What to do against loose passive?

Hello,

How the topic says, am i looking for some tips against this type of player. On my limit (around 5-10dollar) there are a lot of these.  They are rarely folding to cbets or to preflop raising.

Would it be good to just wait for good cards and tighten up?

kind regards,

Matthias

Lower your cbet frequency a

Lower your cbet frequency a bit, and you also decrease the cbet amount a bit unless you hold a strong hand. Also, against such calling stations, 2nd pair is often good enough ;)

Play straight forward

The more loose they are the less you should be bluffing. You should be playing the odds strictly and not making fancy plays. You can tighten your preflop range to include less low cards. You don't want to be raising 45o against a guy that is going to force you to take a showdown.
You can also start limping buttons more often because you are getting 3:1 in position to make the call preflop and they aren't doing much to punish you for doing it with crappy hands.
