I'm playing some on PKR at the moment. You can find fish at 100/200 buy in easily. The thing is i hate their format and cannot really adjust. They have 2000 starting chips and 8 minute blind levels for the regulars and 3 minutes blind levels for the turbo's. At the 500 buy in you have 2500 starting chips.
What's the best way in playing these deeper stacks? I'm used to the regular 1500 starting chips HUSNG's.
What are starting blinds?
Blinds are 10/20
I think the difference between 100 effective and the semi standard 75 effective isn't really that big of a difference, unless its a cooler you usually aren't playing for stacks until you drop below 50 anyway.
I'm interested to see how others respond though.
Can you specify what you find more difficult?
The main adjustment i made was making 3bet slighly larger, and wider especially deep. And pre i keep it 3x until 50/100 , depending on stacksizes of course.
imo it's easier versus weaker opponents, you have alittle more playground. If you aren't comfortable with that much chips the turbo's are the solution which are much faster. I havent played on PKR but Ongame is the same structure and easier to multitable. PKR is weird.
Yeah, i found it too confusing. It was full of fish but it tilted me badly when they caught a lucky/turn river. The matches would always drag to 100/200 blind levels where it was fold/shove... because of the deep stacks... all a big coinflip. I moved to Titan where they have the regular 1500 system and doing ok there.
