Whiney style tilt thread, don't read.

Hi guys,

Just needed to vent...

I've been grinding the HU SNG games from a $150 BR, dropped down to $135 at one point, currently sitting on $209, highest peak so far $220 (few minutes ago) and it's been going well until recently when I run into the players that are 400 games played, -$800 profits, marked as fish on Sharkscope, these guys have been completely destroying me.

They call with King high on any flop shove, and hit, they 3bet (min) with 85 when i have J8 and they hit a boat, they somehow manage to find the fold button whenever i have JJ+ preflop and... ugh, i've lost 5 BIs to these guys tonight and it's driving me insane, I've reviewed my HH and I am happy with my play, I stayed tight, value bet big hands etc, it's just they don't seem to know where the fold button is after the flop and they always hit without fail.

Anyway, not really looking for any advice in this thread, just annoyed because I felt I played really well and I am down 1 BI for the night, desperately trying to scramble up to $250ish for a $10 shot.

Thanks.

Might as well reply to my

Might as well reply to my own post rather than wasting space with another whine thread.
If anyone has any solutions on how to beat calling stations (Q high is always good) when you are completely card dead, I would love to hear it.
How many open ended straight flush draws can one person miss in one game!?!?  How many times can bottom pair call down on a board of 6789K it's beyond sick.  How many times can mid pair hold up against overs + flush draw.  Man, I am going through a really rough patch recently, just finished a coaching session, read through colin moshman's book, been working really hard on my game and i know it's the best it's ever been but since doing all of these things I am down about 14 buy ins, it's driving me crazy.

The best way to beat calling

The best way to beat calling stations is to wait for hands. If you are card dead then you are in trouble, but the chance of you losing a tens of hands at 1-3BB/hand to the point that you lose is a lot smaller than the chance that you actually pick up a hand once in a while and get paid off by them. It can happen, but it will be rare enough that you have an edge.
