How to avoid tilt?

Hi, i wanna describe my personal tliting situation and ask if someone has some tipps to avoid them. Im 2 tabling 34.50 and 57.50 at the moment. Generally i can cope well with badbeats and variance. But at situations when im loosing several games in a row against a fish, i stop 2-tabling, and just play this fish. During doing this, im not able to play my A-game against him because of tiltness. The problem is actually that i dont stop by tilting because i still have a edge when im tilting because the skill of oponents are that terrible. But however 2-tabling my a-game is better than tilting 1 table, even if you have an edge.
So my question is, if anybody has any mental exercises or any other advises that could help? Thank you for answers.

First of all, you're doing a

First of all, you're doing a good job by dropping down from 2 tables to 1 table when you recognize tilt is coming on.  Two other precautions that I would take:

1) Drop down a buyin level or two when you feel that you're tilting.

2) Take a break anywhere from 30 minutes to hours, or quit for the day.

If you don't feel that you can actually do one of these two things, then you should quit playing at that time.  If it bothers you to quit and tilts you after you leave the computer, you should look into some general anger management excercises.  This isn't any hit to you or your mentality, trained professionals and many years of research have gone into anger management and it doesn't help to read a few online articles or even buy a book.  People "tilt" in many forms of competition, including chess, basketball, baseball, stock trading and even regular jobs from cashier to property manager.  Tilt can have a very big negative impact on people in all walks of life.

I personally deal with tilt by closing up my remaining game(s) and taking a break.  It can last hours, days or as little as 5 minutes.  The important thing to realize is that at any level, one fish will not make or break your month/year/lifetime profits.  One tilting session, however, can really ruin your profits and mentality for a long period of time.
