Playerscope.com

Im having a really hard time finding any information on this site. It's free and easily filters for HU matches, so seems like a great alternative to sharkscope, I'd just like to know how they determine their ranking and how accurate their data is. Could this possibly be right?  <$1000 profit and ranked 750th out of 66k? Also, the buyin ranking below, 82nd out of 250k, where did the extra 200k come from, is this just the ranking out of all sng players(HU and otherwise) at the $10-20 stakes? And is the ranking just based on profit, roi, or what? I find it shocking that out of a quarter million people I would be ranked so high.

Email support, they should be

Email support, they should be able to explain how they come up with their own figures. PaulIB_FishingPretty good at stating the obvious

Yes, obviously the site

Yes, obviously the site itself was the first place I looked for info. I emailed them about 3 days ago and have heard nothing back. It seems their support is for opt out requests and not general inquires. Thanks anyway.

Hey, don't take my signature

Hey, don't take my signature line personally. I always put something silly, dumb or stupid there.I was not attacking you or anything like that. If you check my post you will see that I am always trying to help people. I go out of my way to find videos that will help answer people's questions.I publicly apologize to you for causing you any sorrow, hurt or discomfort. I would never disrespect you or insult you on purpose. I don't go on two plus two because of being treated like that many years ago.Once again, please forgive me.PaulIB_FishingApologizing to dthw. I would never dis-respect you on purpose

lol no sorrow hurt or

lol no sorrow hurt or discomfort man, I know the question sounds dumb so I don't blame you but there really seems to be no info anywhere. Nothing is available on the site and Ive searched accross a few forums. Even people just verifying the accuracy of their own stats would be helpful. I would like to use some results tracking site for table selection and I'd like to know why I should pay for sharkscope if there are free sites offering the same info, ya know.. edit:  I guess also that leads to another question.. Is sharkscope what everyone's using to check villain stats? What levels are you checking stats for, and what looks playable to you?  How about the ability rating, what do we infer from it? Is it as simple as play those with lesser ab/100 and avoid those w/ higher? thoughts? please?

I don't use Sharkscope or any

I don't use Sharkscope or any site like it, but it appears to be what most people use. I read in another thread that it is about 90-95% accurate.Hopefully someone who uses it and understands it will answer your questions. It is absolutely amazing how sites pop up and charge money but don't fully explain why we should trust their info.PaulIB_FishingWondering if the explanation is in all that itty bitty print we don't read

"Is it as simple as play

"Is it as simple as play those with lesser ab/100 and avoid those w/ higher? thoughts? please?" If by AB/100 you mean average buy in of less than $100, then you're thinking totally wrong.  As colin moshman say's, the only difference between someone playing a $22 hu sng and someone playing a $500 husng is that the player in the latter is willing to risk more money.Obviously, in general, the players at the higher stakes are stronger, but that doesn't mean that there aren't super super super solid players at the lower levels, because their are.

I wish I had some more info

I wish I had some more info about playerscope, but I do not.Last time I checked it was way too inaccurate to consider using, both for this site (through partnership or promotion of some kind) and for personal use.Sharkscope should be more than 95% accurate.  It's recorded 100% of about 3,000 games I know I've played on FTP.  It was always almost perfect (if not perfect) for Stars, at least for the last few years for me (I recall in 2007 perhaps it was, that it missed some games every so often). It's very rare that I hear that sharkscope missed games.  When they do, you can manually submit the tournament ID and it will show up at some point in their system (I'm guessing the gap may be from their tracking to their database, in which case they can verify the tournament ID, or maybe they have backup systems that result in 100% accuracy, I do not know).
