I have not watched any of the superturbo videos in a serious manner yet, but they are definitely on my list. How applicable are these to endgame situations in turbos and regular speeds? What is different about them? The only difference I can think of is that you have no reads to start a superturbo match, but are already deep into the game and should have a few reads in other games.Any other adjustments?
No other major adjustments. Not having reads and using general player base reads (such as, "the average player will go all in with X range first hand when 3bet, so I call with X range") may lead towards a slightly different default play, but these videos as a whole are extremely helpful to anybody looking to study end game play (and vice versa, if you see end game strategy in regular videos, they are very applicable to super turbos).
Awesome, I was pretty sure this was the case, but not positive. That being said, I have watched a superturbo video by Cog and one by Merssaneary(I think?). I also watched Mers' two endgame (SB & BB) powerpoint videos. I found all of these surprisingly difficult and need to come back to those. At one point I was majoring in mathematics in college. To my surprise, math didn't play nearly the role in the endgame that I figured it would. I always figured that shortstack poker came down to mostly math. There is obviously a HUGE advantage for a player knowledgeable in endgame play.
