I hear that HUDs are not that important in HU from many sources, but couldnt disagree more. I find t very useful to have some info of the villain before i start. I dont rely on the stats as much as in ex 6max cashgames, but its a base for fnding the correct strategy,
On top of this there so much more room for stats with only 2 in a table ;)
The starts im using are:
vpip
call/raise/fold cbet flop/turn/river <- identifies the callingstationess of the villain
agression for all streets
3bet stats also for all streets
call 3bet perflop <- good one, 3bet for value or 3bet for steal etc.
showdown stats <- for valuebet sizing on rivier
I have everything colorcoded, so dont mcuh look at the numbers but the coloring gives a hint of how the vllain plays.
Whaddaya think, and do you find any reason not to use these stats?
BR Mike
More information can't really hurt so might as well use a HUD if you have one. I have a bunch of stats on mine. I find VPIP and preflop raise useless. What you need is SB VPIP and steal which determines limping/folding/raising range from the BU and 3-bet plus fold BB to steal as this will give you calling/folding/raising ranges from the BB.
God Bless!

I use HUD basically to quickly imagine villain's style, if I already played him, but failed to make notes. Most important for me is 3bet and Cbet / FCbet
And yes, HUD shows mucked cards.
I only use my HUD when playing more than 1 table.
Here's my HEM HUD setup file in case anyone's interested: LINK
It has the following stats:
VPIP (SB)
Fold BB to steal
Check-raise
Aggression factor
3bet / Fold to 3bet
4bet / Fold to 4bet
Flop cbet / Fold to flop cbet
Turn cbet / Fold to turn cbet
Donkbet / Fold to donkbet
Fold to flop donkbet in 3bet pots
Went to showdown
Won at showdown (no small pots)
It's pretty much the same setup I used for HU cash.
