Moving from $10 to $20

I started playing poker seriously back in November 2008 and played the short handed sngs, I switched to heads up and so far in the past months I've played 1000 games of $5 and 1000 of $10 regular speed HU, with ROI of 13% and 8% respectively. Now lately my bankroll took a huge hit due to me playing many tournaments so right now I'm at about $200. My question is is it time for me to move up to $20s? I think I have the skills to move up, might have to wait a bit and grow my roll a bit. thanx

Bankroll

10BI don't seem like a lot unless you're sure you're a winning player with a high winning %. A high winning % means less variance (in general), so the risk of ruin is smaller.
Check out diebitter's bankroll post on 2+2 if you really wanna play on a 10BI roll. His approach is based on a 10BI roll, and he splits up his bankroll into a source bankroll, and "gambler" bankroll. It's a pretty cool approach if you know you're a winning player, and you want to move up quickly with very little risk of ruin. Just make sure you stick to it, and NEVER destroy your source bankroll.
Also, if you think you can consistently beat the $11, give the 4mans a go ;)

Why bothering playing 4mans?

Why bothering playing 4mans? Is there really any difference in $/h if u r liek 10% ROI winner at 1vs1 Hu sng's at that level?

If you're a solid winner at

If you're a solid winner at a certain stake, but still slightly underrolled for the next level, playing 4mans is great from a mathematical point of view. I think Skates wrote a good article on 2+2 about the subject, search for it ;)

"Say you have 40 buy-ins of your current level, and the next level is double the stakes. Then you don't have enough by the Kelly-Criterion to play higher, but you have enough to play 4-man's at your current level. Your profit per game will be higher, so DO IT."
