Heater? Over the last 1000 games, it's 15% and over the last 2000 games it's 12%.
For some reason, seeing those stats depress me cause I'm trying to do 5% over 500 games and seeing someone so thoroughly crush the game makes me think I don't know anything about HU.
He also almost made it to the final table of the sunday million, he finished 21st. o.O

I get undepressed from these kind of stats. It means you still can win with a good ROI and the games arent getting too tough yet...

but yea, Bas is a sicko, he's +50k already this month (9 days in), he's obv on a heater this month, but his stats are long-term legit, he is a very very very good player, and def, #1 at 200-500 (excluding croix who is obv in the mix at the 500 level)
I agree with Mige, if what bas is doing is only half possible for most anybody else, that should give you confidence.
The man is definitely a role model to anybody who says you can't be a hard working top notch professional in this field.
Bcm and Croix are two other guys I see breaking that stereotype, and have been for awhile.

Obv im on a huge heater this month but i wont say im the best player or something like that. I consider myself as one of the best players in terms of dedication to this game. I believe everybody can make good money at husng with the right practise, discipline and time dedication. I wish i had acces to such a great site like husng.com when i started playing husngs two years ago.

Ravens, I think Primo was just saying that he took offense to you starting a thread saying he was awful, I didn't read anything in this thread to suggest that your play was bad or anything.
But maybe he said something in chat or in another thread I am unaware of?
I never said Primo was awful in any thread, that obv would make me look stupid.
I did start and quickly deleted a thread on 2+2 that said I think Primo has a tilt problem because he berated me pretty bad when I was beating him last week (3-0) - he questioned whether I had watched any videos because my play was "awful".
Given that I was ahead in the 5-6 big pots when the money went in, I would like him to explain what was so bad about my play (I got it in bad once when he was a bit short, as I recall).
I like Primo and have learned a lot from his videos but I was taken aback when I started to get slammed by him in chat - normally I have chat turned off but I had turned it on only because it was Primo.
I will send the HH's to you Rypac and you can tell me what you think. If you don't want to waste your time with it, that is fine also.

Ok, I read through the HHs. There were 4, I believe Primo won the first then you won the next 3.
There was no berating in the first 3, game 4 I believe is what you are talking about.
Before I address that, I will say you both seemed to play ok. I just skimmed, but Primo's play on that J6 hand was pretty awful as was your turn min bet. That's all I'll say about the play, however and I did not notice anything else bad on skimming.
As to the chat, I wouldn't of said that stuff personally. I can't control what other players on this site say, nor do I want to. I do have a problem with him knowingly berating a subscriber, that's not good form, but that will be addressed privately.
I think it is worth mentioning that Bryan does play a tremendous amount of poker. A 5 day road trip from NH to Vegas with a woman and a dog, getting to Vegas and playing a bunch of live MTTs with the responsability to your backers in these events, that's a lot of stress. I'm not saying it makes anything right, but you have to consider these things. He also did not say anything negative in the first 3 matches.
To conclude, I don't personally like the way he talked to you but I don't think he meant anything personal by it, I think he was just frustrated after losing 3 games in a row vs you and tilted in the chat a bit.
I know everybody looks up to the successful pros in this world, but just look at the highest winning husng player of all time (despite his recent lack of success), livb. Livb is known for harassing players relentlessly in the chat, the stuff Primo said pales in comparison. It's not an excuse, but it is a reality. Nobody is perfect, not with their play nor with their chat and emotions.
I appreciate the time you took to look at the HH's.
I skimmed but did not find the hand you were referring to unless you were referring to the match about a month ago which I did not go back and skim.
I will say that thanks to your site, I am improving so I actually feel I play better now than I did in April, FWIW.
I think I'll keep the chat off going forward so that I have one less thing to worry about.
