Get over this asap. This is why you can make money at poker. Most people wouldn't play if they thought they were bad or that you were good. When someone mocks you for going all in with QJ at 9BB, "lol".. "QJ".. "haha".. "wtf did you expect me to call with, QT?" "lol, fish"... you gotta revel in that moment knowing that you're probably printing bills by playing them.

that is just one match he was in completely domainated 50/50 and behind in a 60/40 won all 3
Hand 1
As played, I'd just shove turn because you can't really fold here given a ton of draws are in his range, and you wanna make him pay. Obviously you got it in good, and he sucked out. Just be aware that the board is quite drawy on the turn, and you won't get many folds imo after the flop call unless he can fold draws. Hand 2
You're a 53% favorite. If you want to 3bet him, just shove to maximize fold equity because you wanna take this down right now given that 55 plays badly post flop. Your bet gives him great odds to make a call...and a TON of cards that come on the flop are horrible for you. Also, only a donkey would fold after calling your 3bet ;) Hand 3
You're a 56% favorite. I don't think your shove is bad, and his call is a bit lose imo, but it's not as if you were a HUGE favorite.
Something that helped me is not to worry about results of individual hands or games that much anymore. We play a game of probability, there are no 100% guarantees until the river. You will loose sometimes even if you're a favorite...BUT in the long term, you should show a positive trend as long as you keep on getting it good.
Don't attribute everything to variance, don't be too proud to thoroughly analyze your game...or get a buddy to do it for you if you're unsure about something.
ok good thing you are bringing me down to earth and giving me feedback on how to improve my play the 2nd hand you are completely right it can be played better
Guys, I'm terribly, terribly sorry for all the trouble I may have caused, but I have to admit, this is all entirely my fault since I was in command during this mission which went so horribly wrong.
So, if anyone of you has the feeling that some primitive lifeform is a lot more lucky against him than normal, please call Stargate Command and help us find and rescue this poor creature.
It all started a few years ago ....
One day, Daniel Jackson discovered some ancient manuscript which talked about a secret planet of endless luck and pleasure. Daniel and me were very excited to learn more about this, so he spent countless nights trying to decipher this ancient alien language.
We finally learned most of the secret: on this planet, most of their primitive lifeforms are equipped with a lot more luck than other species - they win the lottery at lot more often than other species and also have extraordinary success in horse racing, dice and other traditional casino games. On this planet, the - very religous - inhabitants believe this is because the creator wanted to make up for their severe lack of intelligence.
Well, the truth is - these creatures are really a lot more lucky than other species, but it's just a result of genetic manipulations and experiments done by the System Lords millenia ago and the radiation of their sun caused some unique mutation, which is the source of their neverending luck.
Of course, we wanted to learn more, and I got very excited when Daniel told me that he could decipher the coordinates of this planet. Unfortunately, it was off the Stargate system, so we had to wait for Deadalus to become available and drop us off, but two weeks later we could finally start our mission.
When we arrived at the planet, we learned some very unique rites and laws of these people. These people believed that their animals were something like "ambassadors of happiness", sent by their creator to provide them with neverending luck, they treated them with respect and dignity - it was a mortal sin to do any harm to these creatures, and telling them that they're not very intelligent seriously hurt their feelings.
For the same reason - and here is where I screwed up badly - it is strictly forbidden to play any games of skill such as Backgammon or Skat - punishable by death. My huge mistake was, I was so ambitious to make a good impression on these people and thus solely concentrating on the upcoming meeting with their ambassador that I completely forgot to ask about Poker. I also had so many other things in my mind, trying to remember all the things Daniel told me about their culture before we left - but this was my command, so I have to take full responsibility for the action of my men.
Well - you guys can probably guess what happend next - while Daniel and me prepared ourselves for the meeting with the ambassador, some of our men invited a few of these primitive lifeforms to a poker game. At first, everything worked out great, and that another reason why neither Daniel or me realized what was going on till it was too late.
We're not entirely sure what exactly happend that afternoon, but I think we got a pretty clear picuture of the chain of events which lead to this catastrophy which almost got all of us killed.
From what we could reconstruct, that poker round started out great and it was a lot of fun both for my men and these - I'll call them "fish" from now on to use a word which is familiar to you guys - everyone was happy and having a lot of fun. Eventually, a few officiers from Deadalus joined the game - and these guys are not only the most talented and most intelligent folks of our entire planet, they're also used to spending months in space, having no other distraction than playing poker in the wardroom, so they really know they game and have a lot of experience in it.
And this exactly led towards the disaster - after a few hours, the fish started to feel more and more embarrassed - it seemed like their entire luck suddenly turned around and they couldn't win anymore. This was a tremendous shock for them, and one of them even committed suicide.
Well, in the end - we were all accused of playing a game of skill and murder - both resulting in a death sentence.
As much as I detest any kind of violence, I was responsible for my men and had to protect them, so I gave order to evacuate the planet as quickly as possible and get back aboard our ship - as I mentioned earlier, there was no Stargate on that planet so we had to use our spaceship. Immediately incurring heavy fire from their orbital defense stations, Deadalus got severely damaged and - with transporters and shields being offline - Col. Caldwell made an outstanding emergency landing on the planet's surface to pick us all up and save our lives.
With the ship severely damaged and both internal and external sensors offline it is, however, possible that some of these fish made it aboard the ship unnoticed. A lot of my men were severely injured during the rushed evacuation, so we just tried to make it into hyperspace so we didn't even think about potential stowaways on our ship.
We're still not entirely sure how many of these creatures actually came on our ship, and we also didn't find out how reproductibly they are till recently - so even if it were just a few of them, we could now be facing millions.
For the moment, we don't even know what to do, but I already talked to the Asgard and asked them for help - we already located and reserved an uninhabited, earth-like planet where we could evacuate these creatures - if we could only locate them somehow. All we learned so far is, they don't want to stay on Earth because they don't think we humans treat them with the respect they deserve, so they just dream of a new start on another planet. They're only gambling here because that's their nature, just like an animal has its instincts. So we're really looking for a solution here - maybe the Asgard's advanced beaming technology can help here.
Until we find a solution, please be respectful to these poor creatures - sure it's very annoying to see how lucky they are, but as I said, that's not their fault, it's just a result of odious genetic experiments of the System Lords and mutation. They're too stupid to be aware of their actions or their stupidity, but the research we did so far clearly proofs that they have something we'd call a soul, they can feel pain just as we do and they don't understand why we all hate them.
Have a nice weeked,
Jack
Ok, seriously - there is no need to berate the fish. Doing so may not only scare them away, it could also get you chat-banned if they report you.
However, there is one way of making them really angry and getting them on monkey tilt - if they start insulting you, just be super friendly, say "Thanks, Sir" etc. and if they start criticizing your play, just asked them for private coaching ;-)
I did that a few days ago against some idiot and he ended up shoving every 2nd hand and rematched me two times - I kept asking him for advice, pretended I was a complete newbie and had no idea how to play, which made the guy even more angry. He sucked out on me several times, but I could always win the chips back since he was spewing so badly.
He also tried to "teach" me a few things about the game - one hand, he 4bet me to some ridiculous amount like 1271 and fold & showed 75o - that hand has 17% equity against Aces, so he made a mistake by folding for less than 300 more to call. After the hand, he "explained" his "strategy" in the chat, said something like that was such a good bluff because of the strage betsize, so I had to fold my entire range except Aces - well, I had Tens ...
So sometimes, it can be good to have the chat on - but as soon as it starts to tilt you, immediately turn it off.
All Poker sites I played on so far also have an option to mute a player, so you can even leave chat turned on and just mute the players who annoy you.
Jack

Have a nice weeked,
Jack

Goats!!! MORE GOATS!!!
