Criox vs Cog

Anyone interested in seeing a video with these 2?
I'd like to see how Croix would handle a player like Cog.

Croix vs Cog is a fabulous idea IMHO

I think this is an awesome suggestion.  I'd like to see what kind of adjustments they'd make against each other.  This would be especially neat in a regular speed format IMHO as it might be a little more grueling and drawn out.

That could be fun. I'd be on for that if people wanted to see it and Croix had the time. I expect I could learn a lot from playing against someone much better than I am.

 I'd be interested to see

I'd be interested to see two videos -Same match -  One from Cog, One from Croix.  The hands with >15bb effective stack size would be very interesting.

Even the hands bellow

Even the hands bellow 15BB would be interesting, because if I remember correctly, Jon mentioned that he's not just push/folding when he gets bellow that ;) At least not until he's super short.

Good point.  I think Cog mentions in one video that he doesn't apply Nash when playing against an opponent he thinks he can outplay post flop.  But would that be the case against Croix?

Croix never loses in the videos so he should jump at free $

I was just watching and reviewing a handful of Croixdawg videos and noticed he always gets the good all-in flops and wins.  This should be a cakewalk for him if (and only if) it's made into a video.  If I was him, I'd just demand the highest stakes possible since it's free cash.

More seriously, we haven't seen a Croixdawg video for a while so it might be a nice change of pace.  Of course, the best of both worlds is putting both of them together-although I think there should be a handicap (like Croix folding out his first 20 blinds) given the video advantage.

I think maybe a best of 5

I think maybe a best of 5 series, but definitely not advantage, I want to play it straight up.

Croix always wins in videos

Croix always wins in videos because... well he seems to always win anyways haha.

Re: I think maybe a best of 5

Greetings Paul,

I would definately support playing the game straight up without any advantage; I was just being a little facetious given Croixdawg's winning history in the videos.  In fact, Croixdawg even addressed this topic during one of his vids.  He denied cherry picking games where he won, which is entirely believable.  So, I didn't mean anything disparaging towards your ability vs. his.  You are both incredible players and I wouldn't put my money on either of you.  Your styles are a bit divergent, which should make a match up very unique and provide a lot of opportunities for teaching us railbirds a thing or two.  And, I wouldn't mind a best of three or five (or whatever).

Cheers,

Jeffrey

Re: Croix always wins in videos.

Greetings Ryan,

Yeah, he does seem to have an uncanny ability to just win.  I've Sharkscoped him a few times and often wonder how he manages to find any opponents.
