Hi all, just met someone at Borgata Open who told me about this site. Was wondering if anyone was in contact with nemoindenial, just beat him 9 times in a row, must think I suck, but stalking me out of some vendetta or something? I was wondering Croix, does he join your 1k games or he just doesnt respect me? I couldn't imagine he could have an actual 10% roi if he joins other pros. Is he an hu pro, I see 10% roi on sharkscope, but he blocks himself, although if he keeps this up thats going to be falling fast. Anyone have any idea what his deal is or what kind of person he is? He has been running bad, but I know I been outplaying him and now his play is really deteriorating. Don't need to be playing another pro on the fishiest night of the week and have him stalking me forever.
I play as NNNobodYYY on FTP and n0b0dy on stars although I don't play stars anymore.
Possible reason: he quickly SSed you, saw your bad ROI on 500s and decided that you are not enough good for 1Ks. And tilted after 2 losses.
BTW SS shows that you beat him 7 times.
This is carry-over from 2 fridays ago before I left for a wedding+borg open, got to 9 before he won a $300. Save my butt, I guess, run so bad vs the fish last night.
This is literally what he did: joined my 1k, I won, I rematched him to make a point, won..stopped, sat only 500-300-200 to let him cool off and think about it. He blitzkrieg joins all 3 at exact same sec while Im already playing 2 others cvs other people. He loses all 3 and doesnt play a single table vs anyone else, just stalks my games rest of the night til he won one.....real good for business prime time on a friay night.

There's another Nemo guy I saw in the WCOOP event that wasn't very good, if it's him then you should keep playing, I was watching him call 74o OOP to 3x raises in the end game, and not in any way that could possibly be good.
The 2p2 Nemo, is a good mid stakes hu cash pro I believe.
I'll ask him about it when I see him if it's him.
I know it's the good nemo, we talked plenty, he just seems illogical, I know he spent some time with croix and primordialaa. I mean I was grinding 100s to get my house so maybe I haven't earned my slit at 1000 dollar games. Thing is I told him and he saw that if he's gonna join I'm just going to play a lot more aggressive poker knowing my edge isn't as strong; i was just making a point and 9 in a row is overkill but I only hit rematch once and stalking every tbl all night and saying he's going to join every game I play whenevr he sees me is annoying, I doubt his pockets run deeper than mine currently, but if he means that I'd rather just accept a best of 9 match type challenge for 10k or so if there is a way to secure the money. I'll never trust someone who stalks pro players on Friday nights for a 10k transfer.

I wouldn't worry about it. People always threaten to sit others, they never do it for too long.
Even if they did, one person can't really dent somebody's earnings long term, if you're good enough to be in the 1ks then he's likely not beating the rake against you.
Worst case, you guys are basically breaking even long term and a good player will probably make you improve your game.
reality is icant go +9 vs most fish and classic min 2.5 x predictable player, how you been, ps give prop for anyone, never given me a staright answer got 40% former propon ftw glad to see you are doing well, Won ftops as nnnobodyyy so I guess that's me now, but ill always be N0b0dy.

I've read your story with great interest as it reminds me of a situation I had with a person on Pokerstars way back in March through May of 2003. Basically, I was being stalked by a person (who was not a stranger to me) to the point that I had to contact Pstars and get a new screen name and image. This is not something Pstars would allow under almost any circumstance, but I had a lot of evidence of stalking and harassment.
I'm sure you can't do that as easily as you're probably more of a known commodity in the poker world, as a higher stakes regular. That being said, the most important point I'd like to drive home is that you have no control over this person's behavior. It's unfortunate and inconvenient, but it's not terrible or awful. Also, it doesn't mean this person is a bad; it just means that he's currently acting poorly.
So, focus on things that you can control. Most importantly, you can control your own thinking in regards to his behavior. You can choose to just accept his irrational and unfair behavior for what it is and move on. You don't need his approval and getting enduringly and extremely upset about his behavior won't likely change it for the better. Also, you can choose to reinterpet events so that this is an opportunity to be challenged by a presumably good player (as Rypac noted). You might learn a few tactics or you may just keep taking his money.

Nemo replies here, sounds like he wants to play you. If you think you have an edge, albeit a smaller one, I'd suggest just playing him. Having a small edge vs a regular in a 1k should be more than enough to motivate you to play him a lot. He also presumably as a deep bankroll and will keep playing you, making action easy to come by at high stakes for you.
I've been destroying him, but I figure if my roi in general is 10%, vs him it can't be more than 5% long-term and been running insane; he will have his miniruns as well. This was an interesting learning experience as he is paying railers $2 to call him every time I am sitting, I havent had much of a chance to play anyone else in days and I've never had such a sharp incline in my graphs. I find that it forces me to focus harder, play in my office with my good setup rather than be lazy with a laptop in front of the tv. I like to think things happen for a reason and maybe this is forcing me into better habits. Sometimes, I play bad players on autopilot and don't play my strongest poker. He joins when I am sitting any game so I have to tell him to join for $500 to make it worthwhile; he is doing this out of spite so I can't play anyone else. What's kinda a shaft is I never get a $2 transfer for telling him about my higher tables :P. Last time I asked him to sit 1k he didn't, though, and got stuck playing 369 teabags. I will stay away from 2+2 forums, as I believe it will just rile him up more, I don't believe he is in this for the money, but rather some pride/sport type of thing. The one disadvantage of all this is I am really losing out on volume because I don't want to be playing more than 2 matches at a time vs an opponent I have to focus more against.
I also wanted to mention that I really don't like 2+2 forums, too many railers and low limit spammers and followers of anyone who posts there regularly. This place seems like a more tight nit heads up community. Was wondering if we could get a thread following live heads up events? I fall into my own world and keep missing these things. Showed up too late for borgata, heard there is an event at Commerce today? I know of one in Niagara once a year and then there is WSOP. How many of these do we have and when? maybe we could put it on a schedule.

On 2p2, those are usually found in the HU forum's "LC" threads.
Just create a new 2p2 account and anytime you want to play Nemo just PM him and say "I see nnnobodyyy on FTP, you can send me $2 at (insert a friend's account)."
Probably not even worth it if you're playing $500-1ks, as it is under .5% of the buyin, though I guess it's an additional 10% rb.
If you do decide to post on 2p2 again, mentioning that he reneged on a 1k match is a good idea to get all the low limit spammers on your side :)
