Hi. New to this site, so apologies if this has been asked before. Anyone got any experience of these super turbos? 1min blinds, so obviously a bit of a crapshoot, but yesterday the traffic was real slow for the normal and turbos, while these were firing off left, right and centre.
Normally I wouldn't consider them, but I sharkscoped like 5 of the players in them and they were all down like 5 figures. Despite that, are they even worth it?

If 5 different players are down 5 figures in them, that is a great sign because somebody else is probably up 5 figures or more.
I feel like Skates could move to Europe for these.
i played these while grinding a bonus for chilipoker.
as rypac says, there are ppl making lots of money on these. however you need to prepare for megavariance. i ended up breaking even with the games, and got the bonus as profit. that was before joining hunsg however. maybe a new try some day :)

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, from what I hear, they can be pretty brutal.
But the other HU sngs were loading really slowly (like one game every 20 mins) so I SS'd 5 or 6 of the super turbo guys and most were down 9 or 10k in the last 3 months, while some dude was down like 35k!!
But before I got into them I thought I would get your take, in case you pros thought that because of the speed element, the mistakes they made would be too marginal to take advantage of.
I may well just suck it up and brace myself for a few games...

rake is same rate as the normals and turbos - 5%.
there is a brand new bonus type thing that hasn't been running long - i believe it works out at about 27% rakeback. Which is pretty good I guess!

Yeah im thinking about switching over to iPoker at the minute myself to take advantage of some of the bonuses/rakeback etc. I have a really old account on Titan so i downloaded the skin earlier to check them out. As mentioned though the traffic seemed absolutely terrible, although i have no idea if this is true throughout the whole network. If anyone who plays there regularly could comment that would be appreciated.
In regards to the variance - id imagine its pretty sick yeah. I only played 1 game there but the software was ridic fast too which kinda added to the degeneracy factor you felt.

You can, use via VPN or Proxy access to a server in Europe :D
You can either rent one of these servers, or ask a friend to create an tunnel for you to use it, yes it is a bit of work at the beggining but maybe the money you can make there makes it worth.

Well, is it really worth playing them ? I'm more thinking about optimizing longterm growth rather than shortterm profit.
What's the maximum you can expect in these, I don't think you can make anything beyond 15% ROI - most likely even a lot less than that because you don't have any time to get any reads about your opponents and just end up shove-or-fold'ing.
Since you need at least twice the bankroll than for a normal sng, wouldn't it be more profitable to just play a limit higher ?
Guys, what is the the traffic like on Ipoker and Titan for HUSNG's?
Traffic is ok most UK evenings. That particular night, the super turbos were firing off every 20-30 seconds, all the way up to the 500s. The normals are slowest, with the turbos somewhere in between.
I would be interested to know what everyone reckons is an attainable ROI at these and what sample sizes you would need.
Definitely not getting reads is a prob, but there is also the argument that if you can just play a bunch of these against players that poor, you'll soon pick up their pushing/calling habits.
I played some of this
1934568 705 $2 $37 4% $1,558 - N/A iPoker E<=2 Spd=ST SNG Only just 705 games but at $100+ it is just going to be sick beacuse everyone knows the push fold play and you are going to have 3 min at 20bbs + max so i will be sick. i have 60-65% rb but i think turbos is better to play there you can have 7-12% roi in $100 +. One more thing you need like +100 buy ins minimum i think in turbos you need like 50. if you play LS i think turbos it alot better if you play + $50 you can give it a try.
