I sometimes say some thing along the lines of 'is it really +EV to sit another reg'?
The same reg has sat me abt 10 times in a row yesterday, i think he was hunting me and I won 9/10, so if ppl are dumb enough to sit u even tho its -EV then they wil eventully get the hint.
The "Is it really +EV" remark is going to tilt a lot of the best regs, so I don't think it's a good idea to say it. That's the #1 thing I hear from other regs that pisses them off these days, so I'd avoid that unless you want the top guys sitting you at your buyin.
I would just play it out. Almost every regular I know will not sit a player they respect, and if you don't say anything in the chat to them then they have absolutely no reason to disrespect you.
Even if you suckout, don't even say sorry. If they suckout, don't complain.
It's not like you should be treating them as special players, I'm not advocating that. I'm really just reiterating how you should act towards any players, winning or losing. Sure, you can mock the angry fish that is tilting b/c he can't understand why you shoved over his 3x raise 20bb deep with 76s and cracked his jacks he tank called. But you want to rematch the fish. If you don't want a rematch, just be friendly, but whatever you do, do not let anything impact your performance in the match.
Be really unsportsmanlike. Time down each hand. Slowroll the nuts. Then call an internet detective to find his home phone number and call him up like "STOP SITTING ME OR ILL KILL YOU." Works every time.
Sometimes asking them can work. It is a gamble though because if they sense weakness it might cause them to strike even harder.
