I was playing a donk on Pokerstars and he started berating me, calling me idiot and moron and so on. so I called the moderator (just for fun) and next thing I know they banned me from chatting, while the guy who was being offensive keeps on calling me fish and so on. The only thing I wrote is: "how much do you have in your account I have 5 hours to play". I mean can I get banned for this?
Then this morning I receive an email saying that my account has been frozen as in the chat I said I was under 18.
it went like this:
villain: you are an idiot, what are you 15?
me: no I am 12.
I have been palying on Pokerstars for 2 years...so I started when I was 10!! (by the way I am 30)
and I had taken a day off just to play and destress...

Hey, I sometimes tell my opponents that I'm an alien when they ask me what city I live in (since that's really not their business) - maybe I shouldn't do that on stars ...
just don't say you are a bot or you will never see the end of it!!

It seems anal, but because licencing etc is very strict about following the rules, especially underage gambling, they have to act even though it looks like it's said in jest, you should just not say things like this. It's exactly the same as saying a bomb joke at an airport, even though security might look at someone and not actually suspect them of carring a bomb, as soon as it is mentioned they HAVE to act as you have forced them into it.
But the guys you mention can obviously be frustrating, I find concentrating and winning the game is the best remody ;) Losing againt them is def even more frustrating but I try and take even more satifaction out of the next "mouth" I beat. It sound a bit gay and not very macho response to these kind of guys, but I'm sure it helps my roi in the long run...and heart rate ;)
The underage gambling chat trap is straight out of the textbook. It is really obnoxious, but if you send them your ID you should be fine.
