It all really depends what your win rate is, and to be honest that doesn't even matter too much since there is so much variance within each session. If you want to play around to see what typical sessions will look like at different win rates, go to the tools tab and there is a variance calculator.
Think about your overall hourly rate not how many buy-ins per hour would be my advice..
i.e if a player who plays regular speed tournaments can average 5 per hour 1 tabling and he has a 10% roi at $2.20 (probably much higher once he gets his feet under him) he'll make $1.10 per hour.
It's good to move out of the micros as soon as you can, the skill level of player isn't much different comparitively from the $2 to $5 games and your hourly rate would improve noticably.. 10% at 5.25 = $2.62 per hour.
But really don't even get wrapped up in your roi as long as your above zero when your just starting out. Just make sure you post a ton of hands that you have questions on, watch as many beginner videos here and really take note of what the authors are sayiing in them and make sure you ask when your not getting a concept.
Not sure if its in your budget but I'd highly recommend a coach, I had Cog and he changed the way I thought about poker and he offers a really cool intro course that is well worth the price and the 1 on 1 you get from is amazing.
Small Stake Husng's are a gold mine if your willing to grind them..
