If you're changing the file to another file type, then I would imagine it will make it bigger or smaller, depending on the conversion.
For example, avi files seem pretty big, so if you turned an avi file into a wmv file you would probably end up with a smaller file size. If you did the opposite, I would guess it would become pretty large.
Make sure to pay attention to the quality of the audio and video with these programs, as they often have options that allow you to adjust the settings quite drastically.
Simple and easy. I download videos from husng.com, put 'em in a folder. Don't matter if they are WMV's, QT's... AVCWare reads 'em. I batch convert them all at once. Doesn't take that long.
Press "Add Files.." Choose the "Ipod Video" MP4 (320x240) output preset. It goes into another folder I desinate. Once they are finished... drag them right into iTunes under "Videos" Sync Ipod and you got 'em.
I don't have experience with this program.

I should have been more specific...I'm looking at mp4 format so I can put them on my Iphone.
Radeh has an article in our articles section about converting videos into Ipod formats. That might help too.
Yea I saw his article. Pretty good stuff but it didn't touch on file size. Not a big deal though...a little trial and error won't kill me.
Thanks for the response
I use AVCWare Video to Ipod Converter Prolly the best $30 I've spent. Worth every penny.
