poker and taxation

 hi, guys ...so i m a french reg poker player, and make my livin thru poker, but here in my stupid country we might have some stupid rules anytime soon, like in italy, where we won't be able to play vs the rest of the world any longer ... so i was thinkin about movin to another country and so ... asking where is the best place to be as an online poker pro ... what kind of taxation u have where u live  etc ... tx for various answers ...

ps: no more french pokerplayers is a big loss in the income of any HUSNG players ! lol or poker players in general...

2nd I am italian and yes losing italian players was a tragedy....

I think you might want to move to the UK (I live in London)

Winnings on Poker are not taxed. The cost of life is somewhat similar to France and it's very close if you fancy going back (and obv you speak english).

I heard of players moving to countries like thailand where the cost of living is very low and you can have a lot of fun!!

It is like a horse but with shorter legs and bigger ears...(and  we all love it!)

I'm from the UK, in terms of your income from poker it's classed as gambling income & not assesable to income tax.
