Last evening around midnight, I saw you play Shiels123 at $110. The previous night I also played this player. As I watch the match, Shiels used the exact same strategy he used against me- betting min on almost every flop and turn. He would do this regardless of board texture and regardless of pot size- 40 into 240 pot, 80 into 480 pot. This is a common style amongst HUSNG beginners and is extremely exploitable. And so I was shocked. For some reason, you were not quick enough to realize his min beat was almost always WEAK and I saw you fold hand after hand after hand. I was dying to say something in chat, something like "COG HIS MIN BETS ARE FREAKIN WEAK" but I could get banned by FTP for that.Shiels grinded your stack down to 1000 by using this tactic and I just really couldn't believe you continued to fold to his min bets. The match consisted mostly of this:
- Cog on button: Raises 60 to 120.
- Villain calls, then checks flop. Pot is 240
- Cog checks.
- Villain bets 30 into 240.
- Cog folds
wtf? I'm not trying to embarrass you but how is it that a consistent winning player like you could not beat this easily exploitable fish? For the Records:You did eventually win the match with the nut flush and I can only assume he was holding Q clover or J clover. However, I'm just really curious as to how you can beat top thinking players but was unable to out maneuver such an easy fish. After the game, Shiels sat Mientjeuh and Mientjeuh proceeded to crushed him.
I can't remember the match but if someone is min-betting and trying to control me I'm probably aware of it. Sometimes the player is tight and I can attack their min-bets. Sometimes the player is loose and I need to raise their min-bets for value. I suspect I had this guy pegged as loose and therefore had to wait for a hand to get paid off on.As for how I couldn't beat such an easily exploitable fish.. I played him twice and beat him twice.. I'm not really sure what you mean there.Cog Dissonance 2 $105 $110 91% $210 - N/A FullTilt SNG Only VS=SHIELS123

I've seen you fold a few times to small bets on some of the vids, I didn't think the folds were that out of line, maybe a bit tight, still though you don't want to call TOO light here.I've enjoyed watching your vids Cog and I applaud you for your creative play, there are some elements in your game that I don't think a lot of players understand, particularly the pot control stuff which is a bigger part of the game than most people think. I enjoy watching your style and it has a lot going for it. While there are still some things for you to tweak, that's the case with all of us, you are a good player and I don't use that term very lightly. Best of luck in your play and keep the good vids coming :)
That super turbo hu vid cog did was pretty poor bit clueless in a couple of trival spots but this is understandable as your sharkscope says you have played less than 200 of these at average stake of $15. Surely you werent the best person to make that video. Not saying your poor player just poor choice for that particular video.
I'm not sure what's so bad about cog's super-turbo vid. I'm no expert, but really if you think his play was questionable in any spots you should mention it in the video thread and hear an explenation.
