I thought I wasn't banned on PS.  Didn't the message say that in hu there is no advantage to partners?  I am confused.  

Yes, but the fish complained so now they are banning partners in 4 mans.Support had some confusion, so emails to the contrary have been going out.  Should get a flood of complaints from 4 man teams this month though, once Stars gets their crap together on this policy.

Fish isn't even the word here, it's not even conceivable how a team would get an advantage here, you'd have to be semi retarded or suffering from clinical paranoia at a minimum to worry about this.  It's too bad they caved into this utter stupidity.

We'll I can see the point in that if you are not a member of the team you have to beat two people they only have to beat one,  So it is a lot less stressful.

Well it's the same amount of stress for them with or without teams though.  If they are looking for less stress maybe they need to get a partner :)

Perception is reality, for better or worse.In this case, I don't think it matters much.  The original 4 man teams did it for learning or action purposes.These days, I hear people say "I don't even want to play without a partner."  They use it as a crutch, and that's even worse than a fish not understanding that there is no actual advantage to teaming up (though apparently a major mental one for some).Blame the ones that berated all their opponents constantly or sat 3 man teams (which is pretty bad if you look at the EV on it compared to 2 man or 1 man), those are likely the ones that had the most to do with this.The only people that should really be upset are the $500 level guys, since their action is weak at times and 4 mans are a legitimate way for the to supplement it.

Well if your partner is a better player than you are I guess you could consider that a benefit :)
