When playing hu on stars, do to the fact that you can't sharkscope people because games fill up so fast do you typically end up sitting with many more regs than other sites or does it even out?
I imagine that you will be playing a bit more regs, but not sure if it matters that much. personally i play on ipoker and there is a lot less action. often you will see 2 tables with someone waiting, and they will be sitting there for 5 minutes or more instead of playing each other. obviously they are scoping and know who to avoid. if i check the open tables, most often i see a winning player playing a loosing one. only rarely are two regulars that are both winning playing eachother, and when they are, i think it is by accident. the software is a bit slow so two regulars can join the same table within 3-5 seconds and end up playing eachother by accident :) what you could do is sharkscope your opponent after you play him and see what percentage of winners vs. loosers you are playing. and also how you do against each. i think because of the volume you will have a high concentration of fish even without scope, at the low/ midstakes anyway :)
sharkscoping, even only after the match starts, can be bad for your game. I used to SS my opponents but I ended up putting them in categories instead of building reads. There will always be some easy 15% ROI villains and there will defo be some negative ROI villains that'll still give you a hard time
With what Spazz said, I have sort of noticed that with my play as well that if I SS them that perhaps I'm almost being prejudiced against them and will end up losing the match because they were a winner that I didn't stand up against so well or they were a loser that I took for granted. With that note, how is this any different than SSing them BEFORE the match, you are still using information that may make you choose the wrong decisions. This goes along with the same notion that if I get done with Round 1 of the 4-mans I watch the other table but only lightly, I don't put anything into stone cause the two opponents have already seen 15-25 hands and have adjusted their play accordingly (well I play the 11.5s and 23s so maybe not too many adjustments LOL)

You can scope during the game and at least figure out what kind of player you are up against.
