Hoping to get some feedback on comparisions in $100 hu sng's vs $100 level cashand possible earnings. Some have told me husngs at the $100 level are much better than same level with cash whichmakes me wonder why unless your in the very top % why go the route of husng's.thx
Hu cash at $50NL and 100NL probably has a larger % of rake and a much higher waiting period.I would guess it's more profitable per hour invested of actually playing, but I don't know what the action is like (I assume it's still decent that low, but probably drops off a ton at higher levels). You also need a larger bankroll to play 100NL hu cash than $100 husngs usually. The ceiling in hu cash may be lower than husng these days, due to a lack of action at the middle and entry level high stakes games. I'm not positive of that though, just speculation based on what I've read.
the ceiling is much more limited in husngs i would think.Members from deucescracked say up to 100nl cash is still pretty bad, of course not what it was 2 years ago though, butit seems that $100 husng's most all are pretty good, and considering you have such a small amount of timeto make reads on people, not like cash, it would be tougher. (although i understand the hit and go factor) Where did you read this Ryan?
Well a solid "default" game that adapts for specific opponents is proven to lead to a very comfortable hourly up until at least the $500 level of husngs. After that, it may get too difficult without some unique traits and very consistent skills being applied in real time.2 years ago I would absolutely agree about higher ceiling in hu cash. But these days, ask a 1kNL hu cash reg how long it takes him to get a game and how long his action lasts for. You used to be able to sit and get bad opponents at all levels of hu cash pretty quickly, but from what I hear it's very very dry above 200NL.By ceiling I'm talking about long term high end opportunity to make money. I just don't think it's as present anymore in hu cash as it is for husngs. No doubt you can still make solid 6 figures in either, I'd just focus on one main game unless you play a ton of volume and can split your time (or are playing very high and want to split time due to action increase).
I dont know what you mean by "default" game, but i guess the bottem line is poker online is getting alot harder and games are vanishing very quickly. Its shelf life wont last to long as the sharks will grow and grow in the next few years to come. I used to 15 table 1/2 full ring for about 2 years and now just a few years later the games have changed immensely. I do agree, just looking at Full T. and seeing a sick amount of hu players all waiting....that area is really peaking as so many that used to play 10/20 and higher have moved to play 2/4 and down and that "adjustment" will only increase with time.
You can't stop learning or the game will pass you by.But I think it's more like the stock market. Traders from 50 years ago would probably fail hard in today's system, but today's system is definitely ripe for profit.Keep learning and stay ahead of the curve, many people make more money today than they did 2-3 years ago as professionals.
