Hello everyone, I´m here to ask some support and advices from who already faced downswimgs like the one I´m. Look at this: http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/9035/81580541.jpgI play 30s. Most games I´ve lost in flip coins or in 70 x 30 (most of 70 x 30 I was in advantage but they hitted). How can you control your emotional in bad times? I realized that when I start losing I start making more mistakes and gambling a little. I´m used to these kind of hands already, but for five or six days I just can´t stop getting beated! In 421 games I got a 0.9% roi when holdem manager ev calculation says I "should" have about 8. How should I face this? Is that normal in almost 500 games? Thanks for reading
i know such swings or better break even stretches really hurt. but unfortunately this is totally standard even for good players with rather high ROI. so keep on grinding and make your best game, the better your game, the lower the variance. gl
Hey MenckI have had a similar downswing a few weeks ago, where I run 30 buyins under EV in about 200 games. Thats about the same where you are now in terms of buyins. The worst effect is that it destroys your confidence. What I did was that I played more double or nothing sitngos for a few days, where I have a pretty steady ROI with minimal swings, and only played short sessions of HU, slowly chipping up. Once I've started to win more in HU I played longer sessions, and now I'm on a nice heater, winning 19 of my last 21 games and with this I'm back to only 2 buyins under EV. So just keep grinding, it will turn eventually! GL
lol @ terrible try going slightly below breakeven for 2K games, multiply your buy-in times 4, and get a luck-o-meter score of 3% out of 100 for that sample. then we'll talkbut really, you just have to fight through it and hope it turns around, even if it may never. I'm still waiting for it =(
