lol, an ROI of 10% is solid - you can go a bit higher at the low stakes but either way 10% is good - the only criticism is 100 games is a very small sample size - grind out 1000 and see how its looking then :)

oh, lol.Well the first post i made is still kind of applicable, 100 games is a very small sample size so it's possible that you're just running bad, but really you should look over your hand histories and try to establish it for yourself.  Are you calling down big pots with marginal holdings?  Are you checking back top pair on the river when you should have bet big for value?  The $6 turbos are very beatable with a straight forward game, you dont need to make fancy plays or huge bluffs, so if you're doing this it may also contriute to your losses.Most big losers/horrible players are -20% or worse over 500+ games - since you're only 10% its possible you are running bad but i would imagine you're also making some mistakes, you should post some hands in the hand review forum i'm sure people here (myself included) would be happy to share their thoughts.

hey m8, i have a few tips I could share with you from experience...I did the same thing you did when I first signed up for this site and immediately jumped into the $6.25 turbos on Stars and found out quickly that i needed to reevaluate what I was doing wrong. I then watched Primo's HUSNG From Scratch series(with the exception of the advanced ones) and took extensive notes. I then rewatched them and added to my notes when necessary and didn't play games for nearly 2 days. I also watched RyPac's Introduction to Endgame and took extensive notes on that as well. After studying my notes I then watched the following vids to reinforce everything I've learned thus far:1) Primo's Reinforcing Fundamentals2) RyPac's $6.25 and $11.50 videos(very similar style to Primo imo)3) Skates first 4 videos4) Cog Dissonance's every video you can get ahold of. His style is a big passive for most people's liking but it's a winning style and nobody breaks down how to classify opponents and exploit them at the lower levels like this guy. Keep in mind, I did all of this before I started playing again after my terrible run in the $6.25 turbos on Stars. After this was completed(took about 2 days total) I went back to the $5.25 regular games so I could just focus on the fundamentals instead of worrying about $/hr from the turbo speeds. Since then I've been running at 19% ROI over 120 games.I understand that different players take different approaches to learning and self evaluation, and what might work for one person may not work for another. Give it a try, however, because you can't go wrong with the videos I've suggested along with taking good notes on what you're learning(this is fairly important). Good luck in your grind!

Im not an expert, but would like to make two comments.1) If you read this forum I think you will see a lot of ppl describing how HUGE variance is in poker.It really takes some time to understand this. If you had some hard times in a 100 games ... that nothing.Even after 3000 games two players with the same winrate can have massively different results. I suggest you readsome book about poker mindset. How do you handle a 2000 game break even streak? 2) Something I read in "Treat your poker like a buisness" by leatherass:When you post hands at forums you shouldnt post the most "difficult" or "cool" hands, but rather situations that come upfrequently. And It is important to post those hands even if you might look "stupid" for asking those questions. These arethe hands that matter most to your progress! GL in your games :)
