Damn...primordial is just killing it on full t.+70k for this past month...maybe he bought that $50 program that lets you see the other persons cards?;)
Would love for Primordial to chirp in here and give a little bit of a review with the superturbos and how is he is doing so well at the high stakes on FT, considering his last video he made here was at the $28 level and contemplated the inability to beat them and now he is crushing them. I know he is with CR...but if possible would be nice.thx
I posted on this earlier today, but for some reason it logged me off after I clicked for it to post. He said in the 2+2 BBV topic on this that he's refused to coach on these because the addition of any more decent regs would be a big deal, or something to that extent. So even if he was still with husng.com and not CR he'd likely not be divulging his info on them.
thx..missed it. Its understandable..just thought it was interesting to hear him talk in his old/last video about how he was unsure that they were beatable at higher stakes, and to see him doing really well is pretty amazing....also nice to see as it seems he has worked pretty hard on his game for quite awhile.
When he said he was unsure they were beatable, that was with the old structure with 10BB starting stacks and higher rake. Since then Full Tilt lowered the rake, and changed the structure to 25BB starting stacks, and this alows for a lot more play in them. They are definitely beatable now.
I just SSed Primordial then I looked at his game choice and like 17 of them probably some sort of glitch said "(ST) (2) (x2)" that is to say "super turbo 2-players half of the player double their buy-in"...it's a heads up match...duhhhh lol he is beating it at 4% made 135K in the past 3 months
He's been doing very well in these. He won't have any super turbo videos up I believe, but in reality a player that is dedicated enough to learning can just study 25-30bb stack and smaller play from him (and other really good end game players) and get basically 95% of what he and other top regs are doing in these and why they are doing it.But it still makes sense on why he wouldn't make videos in STs, even with my above comment, as there is a major difference on hand feeding information to a large audience and having the only way to get that information be by really dissecting videos and studying hard, learning where small differences may lie and so on.If you really want to crush STs, go watch all of Skates videos and focus on stack sizes at 30bb and less, then watch Mersenneary's end game videos then watch Primo's more recent videos (last 6 months probably) and focus on his 30bb or less stack sizes. I doubt any single player teaching super turbos exclusively in videos would be able to provide you more preparation than doing what I just outlined. Also new Primo videos on husng.com this week, there's roughly 7 left to be posted and I just received two of them.
