Turn bet sizing with vulnerable 2p

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players$100+$5 Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBtitan_b1140 SBHero1860  Effective Stacks: 57bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is SB Hero raises to 60, titan_b calls 40 Flop (120, 2 players) titan_b bets 60, Hero raises to 240, titan_b calls 180 Turn (600, 2 players) titan_b checks, Hero bets 685, titan_b folds Final Pot: 1285 Im curious to know what coaches do with bet sizing on the turn here. the guy was just a random fish and id pretty well run him over till this point. he had like 840 behind and theres 600 in the pot. One thing that led me to OB is I felt i have a huge edge and I prefered to either force him to get it in on the turn or leave him with a pretty weak stack, I really just hate getting lucksacked on in these spotsSo Im not sure the OB is spew, but i also feel like im losing a heap of value.  Im not certain he is shoving weak Qs (like he should be but who knows with fish sometimes) so i feel vulnerable on any 389JQKA or club river. what do you guys think is the best turn + river line here? say i do make it 350-400 leaving him 450 ish behind, and a club or a king falls and he lead shoves do you think folding is at all an option given the insane odds im getting?

whats the difference between

whats the difference between betting 60% pot on turn and shoving river, or shoving turn and making him fold?do you not want to get it in with 2p? the odds are in your favour, exploit them :)

I'm not a coach but I'd bet

I'm not a coach but I'd bet in the 350-400 range if he was loose passive.  If he makes the call he's pretty much committing himself to the river.  If he was very spewy and attacked every sign of weakness I'd bet even less in hopes he'd read it as weakness and shove over me with a straight or flush draw. If he's a straightforward player bet just enough to not give the other player odds to call with his flush or straight draw which is at least 300 on the turn.  He'd be getting 3:1 pot odds with about 18% to hit his draws.I haven't been playing hu very long so wait and see what other opinions are here.

i think u played it

i think u played it perfect... u hit 2p (weak) u extracted a  significant amount with it .... don't be to hungry ...if he is stupid enough to call that s fine ...but if he folds it s fine as well only a scary card could come up ... so u didn't put urself in a tough spot which is fine ...gettin the max chips is a goal but not gettin fucked is the other one... and i think it s 50 / 50
