I love my HUD. It is great to help classify people. But, I was wondering if I should have the filters set up to show the stats differently at <20bb effective and at >20bb effective. It seems funny that so few people use it in HUSNGs.
The first thing I'd suggest to do is filtering for position stats. VPIP, PFR, 3bet/4bet, cbet type stats when you're OOP, and the same type of stats as well as flop characteristics (lead, CR, etc.) for your SB stats. That should be a good start.More people than you think actually use the HUDs at a successful level, but I find a majority of them avoid using it as a primary measure, so you probably won't find that many hard opinions/enthusiasm for it very often.
Actually I have an incredible hud setup now. What I was asking about was HEMs new feature that lets you filter these by the effective stack size. That's wat I was asking about. Here are the stats I use on my hud. I took most of the design from a guy who coaches HU limit games. (http://www.sickread.com/blog/) Plus they are color coded. I don't want to post a picture because it's a pain. I'll email a copy of the file if anyone wants.
im sorry its been a while since i you used my hud but just to clarify? does it mean that you can filter so that when you get to 20bb and shorter that the stats you will see for villains is all the hands you have played against him at 20 bb and shorter? this feature sounds pretty nice, maybe i should start using it again if so :)
Yes it is in HUD Options>Tourney HUD filters. The only thing that keeps me from using it right away is that I want to be able to toggle it off an on during a match. So I want to compare his stats, for example, pre 20bb eff and post. Just not sure what level to set them on.
Great ty, ima try and use it and see if i like it and report back! can you tell me where i can find the "steal limped pot" and the "4bet %" when i setup player preferences in the hud?
Actually I already did the whole thing except those two things, but ill hit you with an email later, then i can also get the colour coding too. Thanks man.
You are correct, though this is changing.I use one in certain game structures and I know a few other instructors have used them off and on as well. This is a far cry from two or three years back.
I guess I need to upgrade my version of holdem manager. Did not know you could sort by effective stacks, that seems like a really good feature. Like Johnny I really enjoy my hud.Line one: Name, Number of Big Blinds ( use to have number of tables but that stat does not seem to work in HUSnG)Line Two: 3bet, call 3bet, 4bet, fold to 3betLine three: C-bet, call c-bet, raise c-bet, fold to c-bet, donk bet flop, bet flop, fold to flop betLine four: 2nd Barrel, call 2nd barrel, raise 2nd barrel, fold to 2nd barrel, donk bet turn, bet turn, fold to turn betLine five: 3barrel, call 3barrel, raise 3barrel, fold to 3barrrel, donk bet river, bet river, fold to river betI admit some of these actions don't take place enough to be relative. Who knows, one of these days these stats might help me become a winning player.PaulIB_FishingReally needs to upgrade hud
@Johnnyhere is a link to a video showing how to setup holdem manager to display stats for different effective stacks.I set mine up for 31-50BB / 15-30BB / 1-15BBHope this helps you.PaulIB_FishingLearning more about HEM than I really want to know

I read about it but I didn't try it yet, mainly because we can't change the pop up info

email me as dzikijohn@hushmail.com and I will export my hud so you can import the whole thing and don't have to do it from scratch.
