Hey guys I found a cool free tool over at 2+2 I am starting to play with. It was designed to be used against short stackers. When it is set up sb vs bb you can give the villain (sb) a raise amount, a open raise range, a call shove all in range, and effective stacks and it gives you the jam and fold like a Nash chart. Very interesting. Check it out, it's free ware. Also has an Odds calculator that you import the # of out and gives you the odds on flop, turn and river. Useful for beginners. http://nyjet_twoplustwo.home.mindspring.com/
This isn't very usefull for HUSNG because it counts rake and adjusts % to that. Also for me it's not working right now, the whole table is green all the time which means I can shove any 2.Maybe for 6m or FR cashgame shortstacking it's a good tool anyway.
I don't think you have set it up correctly. I just learned why they say lower you opening raise from 3bb to 2bb when eff stacks are 20 bb. With villain opening 50% and calling 25% of range you can push 28% of hands when he opens for 3bb but, only 22% when he opens for 2bb.Make sure you have it set for sb vs bb and play around with it. Try setting the steal range to 50%. I know you are probably opening more but, those are atc opens where you might as well have your cards covered. Think of a more value type range.
Also it is cool to see how wide you can call a 20bb push.
according to the topic on 2+2 more people have problems with it right now, I definitely think it is a very interesting program to work with, but I am not shure if it's working 100% correct for HUSNG.There are indeed some very interesting things you can find out using programs like this, but I will need to get confirmed it works 100% correctly before I will use it to change my game.
xSCWx used the prog a long time ago in one of his Videos.
