In my shoes its Jx, Qx, Kx, Ax, any pair. Too tight? That push was close for me. Againts loose caller I would even take hands like bad Jx and Qx off.
dunno how good your opponents endgame is but you should be able to push as wide as following range:22+,A2s+,K2s+,Q2s+,J2s+,T3s+,95s+,84s+,74s+,64s+,54s,A2o+,K2o+,Q2o+,J7o+,T7o+,97o+,86o+,76ou can use the nash push folds charts (holdem resources) for this problem and pokerstrategy.com has some kind of free push-fold SNG tool u can practice your nash ranges with (make sure u put edge on 0% tho). U can use SNGwiz or StoxEv for these problems as well to find more exploitable strategies against weaker opponents please correct me if I'm wrong!!
The push is fine your opp had 7,5bb just unlucky to top with a much better hand. But I think you should push everytime there.
An unexploitable shove here is the range (61.0%, AA-22,AKs-A2s,KQs-K2s,QJs-Q2s,JTs-J3s,T9s-T4s,98s-95s,87s-84s,76s-74s,65s-64s,54s-53s,43s,AKo-A2o,KQo-K2o,QJo-Q5o,JTo-J8o,T9o-T7o,98o-97o,87o,76o).If your opponent calls perfectly (41.1%, AA-22,AKs-A2s,KQs-K2s,QJs-Q5s,JTs-J7s,T9s-T8s,AKo-A2o,KQo-K4o,QJo-Q8o,JTo-J9o), your EV is +95.81.jaymzz must have used an analysis program, too, unless he's really good, as his numbers closely follow mine.**********If you opponent is extremely loose and calls (50.2%, AA-22,AKs-A2s,KQs-K2s,QJs-Q2s,JTs-J5s,T9s-T7s,98s-97s,87s,AKo-A2o,KQo-K2o,QJo-Q6o,JTo-J8o,T9o-T8o,98o),then your pushing range should be 48.4, AA-22,AKs-A2s,KQs-K2s,QJs-Q2s,JTs-J6s,T9s-T7s,98s-97s,87s,76s,AKo-A2o,KQo-K2o,QJo-Q7o,JTo-J8o,T9o). This takes out the hands (J5s-J3s,T6s-T4s,96s-95s,86s-84s,76s-74s,65s-64s,54s-53s,43s,Q6o-Q5o,T8o-T7o,98o-97o,87o,76o).You new EV would be +102.50. If you did not change your pushing range against this looser player, your EV would be +98.70.
It would have been a mistake not to shove. The Endgame is always a lil gambling but you would waste ev if you fold here.
Just finished watching Mer endgame video. Most important quote. The cancer of late stages is to think you have to get it in with the best hand.
