im starting to play hu sng. used to play nl50 hu but would like to try sit n go since it always seemed fascinating to me.i was eventually probably a brek even nl 50 hu player, with huge swings. so is 2000 dollars enough for 20-30 dollar buy-in hu sng?
Yep, that's plenty. You could always play lower stakes since you just switched over until you feel comfortable moving up. GLGL anyways.
Your bankroll in relation to your buyin level depends on your goals and your ROI. Of course, you cannot know your ROI, so I believe it's best to have a conservative estimate to start with.I am going to assume a 1% risk of ruin is fine for you and that you will never take money out of your bankroll.Based upon this, $2000 is a sufficient bankroll at the following stakes for the given ROIs:$31.50 3.33%$34.50 3.65%$21.00 2.10%$23.00 2.35%I cannot tell you what the correlation is of bb/100 & ROI in cash vs. sng.
thanks for the responses ! ill probably start out easy and play those 20+1 and some 10+0,50 until i get comfortable with the game.this probably reads somewhere and im going to try to find out but it doesnt hurt to ask here also, how many games does it require to approximetly know what your ROI is?
Around 3000 games to know youre ROI.
