I was surprised when I scoured the Master Video List, only found only a couple videos labeled that they were against "Aggressive" oppoents (not looking for "Tight-Aggressive") and none labeled as "Loose-Aggressive" opponents.I am currently making my up the stakes' ladder and I'm at the humble stakes of $5.25.Many opponents I find here and many at $2.20s are very Loose-Aggressive and I haven't really noticed any videos geared specifically to this type of opponent. I assume there are many of these types all the way up into mid stakes and maybe beyond.There are more than a couple types of L-A I have run into that would require somewhat different strategies:1. Hyper-Loose-Aggressive...Cannot keep his mouse pointer off the Bet/Raise buttons and his bets and raises are quite large at many points. Sometimes the bet sizes will vary all over the board. While these opponents aren't as hard to beat as the others, I still feel like I am giving up a large amount of EV in some great spots that I do not recognize as being great spots.2. Constant Loose-Aggressive...This player's aggression is somewhat more controlled, but he throws around a lot of smaller bets and raises. His bet and raise sizes are very hard for me to combat right now, and he is only one of two types of players that I fear. (The second being L-A player type #3)3. Selective Loose-Aggressive...This is currently the type of player that I am working to be. This player selects better boards and situations to be aggressive with. When a fearless player of this type plays back at me, my strategy starts to faulter.I am very comfortable with the bad Tight-Passive, Loose-Passive, and Tight-Aggressive players that play at the very low stakes. It's the Loose-Aggressive ones that I do not know how to respond to. It seems that there are many fewer videos on these player types.Fydor did one video (#9??) that I just watched and it was him against a friend of his who usually plays six max and was told to play a Loose-Agressive style. While the video was OK, it just seemed the whole video that his opponent was very recklessly throwing chips around and not choosing good spots at all to be aggressive. His bet sizes were often quite large in these bad spots, so it wasn't hard to take advantage of that play. I think most of this comes from the fact that he was trying too hard to be a HU LAG.Fydor's reason for "hiring" his friend to play this style was that it could take a very long time find a suitable Loose-Aggressive opponent. This is a very reason for doing this, and the video produced was, as I said, OK quality.I would suggest that you do a series of at least 4-8 Popopop replayer videos of games submitted by members and/or played by instructors. These submitted tournaments could be reviewed and screened by a non-instructor to find the most interesting submissions so that the instructors' time is not wasted. Live play videos are great, but replayer videos have the advantage that you can produce a video based on a great tournament every time. Live play, of course, is hit-or-miss, and you cannot choose your opponent types.
