There have been a few posts (forum and blog) indicating some trouble using the hand converter but its really pretty simple (just not at all intuitive):OK, so open up the converter, paste in your hand and make sure its set to output HTML (default I think), and click 'Submit'. You should get a textbox with a load of html back. Select all of this html (dont use ctrl-a it selects whole page), and copy the selection to the clipboard. - ctrl-C or right-click ->copyNow, when you are in the post editor, click the 'Edit HTML Source' button, and a new window pops up to enter your html source into. simply paste in the html output from the hand converter and hit 'Update', and voila! Although the title will be in large bold print in your editor, it will post like the following: (It does seem to have an issue with the hand info like stacks etc)No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players • FullTiltPoker 4man Heads Up Shootout Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBHero1500 SBpokeri6661500 Effective Stacks: 50bb Blinds 15/30 Pre-Flop (45, 2 players) Hero is BB pokeri666 raises to 90, Hero calls 60 Flop (180, 2 players) Hero bets 90, pokeri666 calls 90 Turn (360, 2 players) Hero checks, pokeri666 bets 165, Hero calls 165 River (690, 2 players) Hero checks, pokeri666 goes all-in 1155, Hero goes all-in 1155 Final Pot: 3000 Hero shows a pair of Queens pokeri666 shows Hero wins 3000 ( won +1500 ) pokeri666 lost -1500
Yes, I have followed those steps, and at times have even got to the preview screen with the hand formatted correctly (twice?), but when I "Save"d it, it again appeared as unformatted text. I have spent almost two hours total trying to figure it out and it's the only hand converter in eight years I haven't been able to use successfully.
Well thats all I did to post the hand above...
What browsers are you guys each using?
I'm using IE8 on two different computers...I still need to get with you Ryan on TeamViewer, but I'm going back to bed now, so no time. :)
I really want to know what both hero and villan were thinking in the hand :/
LOL, yeah its not a standard hand at all (esp in a vaccuum), I played about 7 games against villain previously that day, decent flop to lead though I thought, and not folding to such a small turn bet once I picked up a gutshot, and tbh I thought I was still likely good with Q high - had him on a low OEer as he was raising ATC pre from the btn. I did tank abit on his river jam, but no hand that beat me made sense and Id finally made a pair so what the hell I called... quick 1st match! ;-) (I also thought he might have been tilting abit as he hadnt beaten me yet, and I was getting quite good at picking his bluffs - calling down with A high etc)Def not how I play without reads though.Im using Firefox.... There's your problem qattack: your using IE ;-P
