I don't like badbeat stories, but sometimes I just need to blow off steam.I played a loooooong match against a hyper-aggressive calling station and I played really well. There were really only two hands that the whole match boiled down to:I limp-trapped AJs, was raised, I reraised to over 1/3 pot, he minreraised me and I got it in...His Q7o beat me.I came back 1000+ chips and raised AcJc OOP. Of course he called. He raised the flop of Jh6c5c and of course I lost to 6s4h.I hope no one reads this; just needed to blow off some steam. It was the second match in a row this happened. (OH NO! NOT two in a row! Impossible!)
Despite losing these two, I'm very happy with my play and the way I'm adjusting to opponents today.I just finished watching Cog's video 43 featuring $10.50 Aggro opponents, and this seems to have really helped me with those player types. I also have viewed numerous videos vs. tight players that have helped.Though hyper-aggro players seem to be the norm at low stakes, there are very few of them featured in videos here. I know it's a hit-or-miss process when making a video. Lots of variance in types of opponents!
dont play AJ versus this guy xD
