This was the fifth hand of the match. Pretty much all I know about this opponent is that earlier this year he played a ton of higher-buyin games and had an ROI somewhere around -11%. His average buyin for the year is $40 over 250 games, but recently he dropped down to $10.50 and has an ITM of 69% over 53 games. He raised his first two buttons to 3x, making me believe that he doesn't have an ace. 1) If he's raising some stronger hands and still limping, this makes QT a great hand to raise with preflop for pure value. A lot of players will limp weaker Qx hands, weaker Tx hands and raise a lot of the stuff that you're normally concerned about domination when you hold QT (AQ, KQ, QJ, AT, KT, QQ, KK, TT, AA), so it really lines up so well for your hand to grab value and raise preflop. On its own, QT is already a good hand to raise a limp with, but combining that natural value with an opponent like this just further makes me want to raise the QT.2) I would reraise the flop, there are plenty of draws and weaker pairs that hit this flop that will give you value, particularly at the lower level heads up sngs.3) With the line you took, while I think you would've been better overall to raise preflop, once you check and then call his flop raise, your reasoning and actions based on that reasoning (him not likely having an ace, bluffing a lot and then calling because of that) make complete sense.Overall, you can use 1 and 2 to improve your thought process and decision making in this hand, but your reasoning and logic in this spot was fine. You'll also note that I'd of likely lost a much larger pot against 92, but I'd of also won a much larger one against T7 :)
