First off, I'm very new to grinding hu sngs, but I'm doing well so far.I usually sit first in the 102 superturbos on ftp and this reg by the name of patrick..... sat me today. At first I was like lol this is $100 games regs usually do not play each other. So we keep rematching each other and find that I am more comfortable playing this particular reg than I am a fish that plays every hand.I realize as I move up I am going to have to play more regs. So my question is..is it possible to have a greater edge vs a winning reg than a losing fish? Taking into considering styles of play and being on their level of thinking. Since it's hard for me to try to figure out what a fish is thinking at times.
I think it would be difficult to have a greater edge against a winning reg versus a losing fish, but do keep in mind there are bad regs (fish regs) as well. If the winning reg is bad at adapting and is easy to read I suppose it would be possible, but just less likely. Feel free to check out my Reg Wars series under the Premium section if you want to see some experience playing good/winning regs.
