So some players say you should elimate all distactions while you play. I do this except listen to some tunes as it really seems to help with tilt. Just wondering what other listen too (also would like to know some good songs I can add to my mix).I like classical for when I'm having a hard time focusing and regular stuff when I'm feeling good.A mix of radio head, alexisonfire, queens of the stone age, NIN, some rap (old school Biggie smalls, 3-6, tupac) , black keys (check out black door), tv on the radio, some Led Z, kings of leon.Any suggestions?
I am now addicted to Dubstep..best grind music ever
A State of Trance, only have 120 hours of it so far though.
Newff - thanks for the suggestion, definitely becoming an addict as well - will check out A State of Trance
I used to listen to a lot of instrumental stuff while grinding, anything from Upsilon Acrux (sp) to Rodrigo y Gabriela.I also used to listen to some folk music as well, I find that background music (or if it's more aggressive, no words) suits me best, as it does not distract me.I haven't listened to music while playing in quite some time (perhaps even a year), but I have an idea I've been kicking around about redoing my office area with total comfort in mind and I might add an external music player with 30+ hours of music on it.I may also try some Jazz. If anybody has any recommendations, don't hesitate.
I agree with the instumental stuff Rypac. Usually I'm listening to classical via AolRadio as it helps with tilt control and isn't very distracting (something about hearing words takes a little bit of concentration away at times as our brains are naturally wired to understand and process commuication). However, I mix it up quite a bit (and have been listening to a lot of dubstep) depending on my mood. As I tilt less and less, I am pretty much game ofr anything.Wish i had some suggestions on jazz - you could always listen to some tunes online and write down anything you like. It's what i do.
Dubsteps, progressive house, sometimes electro house or good remixes..
Really depends on what you like.
Well, i usually like Http://www.di.fm and choose lounge or chillout as a background
Most of the time I play without music, but when I do listen to music it is smooth jazz, classical, worship music (this stuff is really, really relaxing), or some other type of instrumental music.I could listen to anything that does not have words in it. When words come into play my mind has to pay attention to see if make senses or not (yeah, I know am weird).PaulIB_FishingJust another weird wanna be poker player
