Very well played.There aren't a ton of cards on the turn that hurt your hand, so flat calling with a less the stellar top pair hand early on and not only excercising a bit of pot control (not nearly every player will get you all in by the river once you flat call their CR, even when they do have stuff like sets) but also keeping all their bluffs in their range... good job.Once you pick up such a strong hand on the turn, especially one that can make pairs or draws out of bluffs or make weaker top pairs feel more comfortable (you're also now beating any king aside from KK), value raising is good. Calling the shove is standard, there are more likely weak hands that will get it in here from the average opponent than strong hands, and it's not even necessary for him to have 50% weaker hands, as Chuge mentions. Very profitable spot and well played.The only thing about your uncertainty that worries me is that you're thinking "Set" when you see somebody CR the third hand on a dry board. That's much too narrow (and rare) to be concerned about so specifically.
