Doyle's Room

I play HUSNGs on the Cake Network and I get in through the site Doyle's Room. I've noticed the traffic has significantly died over the past week or two so I downloaded the actual Cake software and there were more people playing. I log in through Doyle's Room and only one person is sitting a $5 HUSNG. I've been sitting the 55 turbos and I only get like 1 game in per hour or so and now I know why. I emailed Doyle's Room and all they said was I can assure you that we are still on the cake network. Anybody else play on Doyle's Room?? I'm guessing no by the looks of the lobbies.I used to get on the Cake Network through Player's Only but they moved to Merge and my rakeback site offered an easy transfer to Doyle's Room if i wanted to stay on the Cake Network. Luckily I just started playing on Poker Stars. I actually requested a check to cash out 2/3rds of my Doyle's Room account four days ago and the request is still pending. Seems like Doyle's Room is just not a good place to play. Expected more from a site with Doyle's name on it.

The room is not important ,

The room is not important , only the network For see the traffic of the biggest network or find the network of a poker room : http://www.pokerscout.com/  Sorry cant give advice for rakeback ... i respect the husng.com promotion

Hmm I also checked Cake

Hmm I also checked Cake Network traffic and there are some more ppl who waited for 15mins and no game started. Maybe the traffic is only good enough for a few hours a day.

I sit at multiple

I sit at multiple networks (Cake, Merge, PS, FT)... Basically just wondering why I can't sit other player's on the same network as me. I only see player's on my site for some reason. No biggie though, just thought I'd post it cuz it seemed weird and was wondering if anyone else dealt with it.

That's weird Hehasrisen, as

That's weird Hehasrisen, as far as I know you should be playing on the entire network, as Doyle's room support suggested to you.  I'm giong to ask an experienced affiliate about this for more information.Besides the major two (Stars and FTP) I'd suggest looking at the Merge network.  It's a very soft network that seems to have added a lot of Cake traffic from some of their better skins over the last 8 months.I've started playing a few games there myself to try it out, since we have new promotions on that network and they're offering what is likely the best rakeback around for heads up sng players (especially those that cannot access any Euro rooms).  They offer 35% rakeback.  We're going to add a pretty attractive promotion to the Deal of the Month page in the next few days for another Merge room (the December deal will still be valid for people to sign up on).

Ok, I've looked around and

Ok, I've looked around and spoken to several people about this.Things are not looking good at Doyle's room.Their website looks to be acting up and not properly functioning.  Reports of users not being paid rakeback are also out there, though it's too early and small of a sample to make a definitive statement.I believe Cake (the network major skin) handles the rakeback processing for Doyle's room, so any delay in rakeback payments should ultimately come back to them and NOT Doyle's room, we'll monitor that one and see what happens.Doyle's room however, appears to process player payments on their own however, not a good sign as Doyle's room is not as strong as the Cake skin in my eyes (since Cake is a full network, and can survive even if a skin closes down, and Doyle's room is a skin). So, while it's a little too early to say we're seeing the beginning of Doyle's room folding, or Cake as a whole (much too early for that at this point), the signs here are not good for Doyle's room in particular.I'll let you know if I hear anything else, I'll ask around a bit more too and see what I hear.

Thanks for investigating this

Thanks for investigating this rypac! Ya i had a problem with 2 weeks worth of rakeback so I emailed them and they eventually deposited it into my account. Maybe I should just withdraw all my money! Hopefully I can even get my money!

Hehasrisen's picture
BTW, i haven't played that

BTW, i haven't played that many games on Merge but I will give it a go once I get my money out of doyle's room (if that happens). I'd go with the RB deal on this site but I actually already have an account with RB through Player's Only. I've never had a problem withdrawling money through Player's Only. They always seem to mail my checks quickly.

Yes, PlayersOnly has a good

Yes, PlayersOnly has a good reputation.Carbon does as well, and those are two of the places we offer. Please report back any new information about what's going on at Doyle's with your account/cashouts/rakeback as well.I haven't been able to find anything else out yet, a lot of people within the industry seem to not be too aware of this issue, so hopefully it's just a blip on the radar and not a sign of something larger and negative at Doyle's room.  I'll post if I hear anything new as well.

Ok I'll keep you posted. I

Ok I'll keep you posted. I actually found a forum, by googling, that had a lot of people complaining about not receiving checks for months (cardschat.com). I also found 2+2 posts about people having trouble cashing out so we'll see how it goes.

Yea, I saw the same 2p2 posts

Yea, I saw the same 2p2 posts you mention and it's not exactly inspiring confidence in Doyle's room.

Well, still no sign of my

Well, still no sign of my money from Doyle's Room and I'm tired of playing 22s on Stars! Once (or probably more like IF) I get that money I can play the 50s or maybe even higher. I basically keep emailing them and they keep saying they are backlogged and it will be processed shortly. I tried to call the phone # and it is out of service. The guy I've been emailing says they no longer have phone support. I've lost all respect for Doyle Brunson for even allowing his name to be on the Poker Room.

We have a player signed up

We have a player signed up through Doyle's Room that placed in their December rake race.  He has not been paid yet.  We just received a reply after 5-7 days of waiting from Doyle's Room that simply said "rake race payments from December are delayed currently."  No further information is available.People more informed than I are telling me that Doyle's Room is moving to the TruePoker network soon and owes Cake (the network) a ton of money.  That is not confirmed nor verified, nor do I know what it will mean as far as getting your cashouts/payments.I'll keep you updated as I hear more.

Hehasrisen's picture
Ok thanks. Ya, they still owe

Ok thanks. Ya, they still owe me $100 for the December rake race too. Not really worried about that though. Just want to get my cash and get outta there.

This may be kind of a stretch

This may be kind of a stretch but I'm wondering if you can transfer funds between players on the same network, but two different sites? I'm assuming each site holds their players money in their own separate bank but maybe they have some sort of agreement.

You were right rypac. I woke

You were right rypac. I woke up this morning to log in to doyle's room and its now on the true network. No warning or emails or anything. They cancelled my pending withdrawl, put the money back in my account and now the cashout button is disabled!... I'd worn that player you have who is signed up to doyle's room that it may be hard to get his money.

lucky i saw this, the rake

lucky i saw this, the rake race on Doyles Room is so JUICY. By the looks of the rakerace standings, they are getting killed. They offer so much and yet the top players play such small volume

Update: From new PAS

Update: From new PAS article:"We are happy to report that all player funds are now backed by BetCris (a very popular and highly rated sportsbook) and True Poker (the historical head of the network). Regarding promotional payments that are due to players, these will be paid next week. Affiliate payments will also be made next week."

FYI

I received $32.84 in rakeback and $100 from a rake race (both earned in December) on February 1st from Doyle's.I finally received my cashout today, Feb 8th! I've been arguing with Doyle's Room for a while now. I first requested my cashout on Jan 8th. Thanks for posting the link above Ryan! Knowing that True Poker was backing their funds helped out a lot! I actually emailed True Poker Support and described my situation. I emailed them on Feb 1st and they said they will speak with Doyle's Room and make sure I receive my money. A week later and it's in my bank account via ACH/EFT. If it wasn't for the True Poker Support guy I dealt with I'm not sure If I would've ever gotten my money.

Tony from

Tony from PokerAffiliateSolutions recently interviewed Doyle.  They discuss a lot, from the legality of online poker in the US to the operations at Doyle's room, to why Doyle's room moved from the Cake network and what players can expect there in the future.Suffice to say, Doyle's Room has a lot of reasons to be optimistic about their future, so we'll keep an eye on that: http://www.pokeraffiliatesolutions.com/poker-affiliate-blog/tony/395-doy...
