Hello,I dont know what to do :(In december I can play and win very eassy, but now in january i cant make any money. Offcourse now I have super monkey tilt.I dont know what to do :( I wanna play but I cant make profit. Thank u.
Just move on a new poker room , and all reg try me !!! Overall The main mistake is to dont mix the way they play and tilt after 2 game lose ... dont do thas :)
Professional players experience 500-1k game breakeven stretches every so often. These are players that handle tilt better than the average player, players with more skills than the average player (they play better players too usually, but I think the skill part more than makes up for that).I would suggest just working harder on your game during these times.Boulases suggests trying a new site. That, along with trying a new structure, can often lead to some success. A change of pace can be stimulating to your confidence, focus and ultimately performance (success). Don't go crazy thinking that changing a site or structure or slight strategy chance will just magically cure everything, but it can be really healthy to change something up. If you start running really well, it's not likely due to the change, but the change probably helped you get there.
Rypac: Ive been breakeven for like 300 games now since i changed network, and feels like im getting crushed and are stuck.
I was first playing reg speeds and felt like i was crushing at stars, but then i switched to pacific reg speeds / some turbos (reg speeds have 7 min blinds 10/20-15/30-25/50-50/100..) because of tax reasons.
Any suggestions what to do? Just keep playing at pacific and hope to get better / run better?
hejhopp, I'd suggest staying on Pacific if it's the only place you can play for tax purposes. If there are other options that you have, go ahead and list them here. But Pacific should be softer than Stars, and something as large as a tax advantage is more than enough to choose any room over another that has action for the games you play.Talk to boulases, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Also post some hands and discuss strategy in the forums, watch some videos, but most importantly keep playing and keep focusing without tilt. That's all easier said than done, but poker pros don't grow on trees, and in order to allow yourself the potential to make the big money that attracts so many to these games, you really have to work hard consistently.
Maybe it is the super monkey tilt? Take some time off.
you up , is better than the average ... just be happy and dont tilt
