To chop or not to chop

Hey guys,although im not a big fan off this I do have a questions:Can anyone tell me whats the standard behaviour?It is not treated as aflip but the winner transfers half to looser?THXgl

Chopping

If you sit with someone that you don't want to play and he doesn't want to play either ( happens for instance when you join at the same time ), than you chop. Meaning you or him asks to chop, the other one confirms. You shove it in preflop the next hand and whoever wins, sends the other their buy-in minus the value of the rake back. So if you were to chop in a $34.50 on stars for instance where the rake is $1.50, you ship $33.GL.
