I've been playing the deepstacks on FTP and average about 23min on those (still playing the 10s) however sometimes, especially with tight opponents, there are some games that take up to 1 hour to end and those games end up being extremely boring.Anyone else playing those? How do you deal with games that take this long if you have those? Most of the times they end up tilting me a bit... Do you think i would be better of trying to play the reg speed and get used to 75bbs starting stack ?One other thing that i'm thinking about is the waiting time for those at higher levels, it might be boring having to wait more than 15min for a game Thanks!
Based on everything I have read on three different HUSnG Training sites, I recommend learning the turbos IF you plan on playing higher stakes. It seems like it is common to wait 30 minutes for a game at the $100 reg speeds.PaulIB_FishingDon't have time to wait for a game
Yeah, your numbers are pretty close to mine. I think my average game might even be longer than that just because I play somewhat slow and also tend to play a lot of tables among different game types. What I'd recommend is learning another game to play while you wait for deepstack games, because some days I go hours without anyone sitting. I don't know what it's like for the buyin you're at but for me the $100-$500 games are my regular lobbies and it's not easy to get action unless it's from regs. As you move up it's certainly going to get worse because fish are tougher to come by at higher limits. If you add in the occasional regular speed game you're going to get plenty of action, because as far as I know there aren't long waiting lines until you hit the mid-high stakes games. Personally I wait for cash games while I wait for deepstacks so I usually have one of the two running. If not, I play rush 6max =)If you have any other questions about the deepstacks then let me know!Barewire
