Hi all,Watched a rypac video before this Match and decided, that if I will play against a loose calling station, I will try to go for bigger value bets with my good hands, and it worked very well. This villain was an unbelievable loose aggressiv calling station, and I was sure to get value from middle pair / some small pairs. I was pretty sure he has no straight on the turn when he just called (he was calling loose with his weak hands, but pushing and raising when he get there). I think my value bets are fine, just wanted to know if someone finds a fold on the river given the size of the pot. $10.00/$20.00 No Limit Holdem • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBEnder1985$1300.00 BTNHero$1700.00 Effective Stacks: 65bb Pre-Flop ($30.00, 2 players) Hero is BTN Hero raises to $40.00, Ender1985 calls $20.00 Flop ($80.00, 2 players) Ender1985 checks, Hero bets $60.00, Ender1985 calls $60.00 Turn ($200.00, 2 players) Ender1985 checks, Hero bets $160.00, Ender1985 calls $160.00 River ($520.00, 2 players) Ender1985 checks, Hero bets $520.00, Ender1985 goes all-in $1040.00, Hero calls $520.00 Final Pot: $2600.00
not that it matters to the hand but the way you described him he sounds more loose passive but whatever.Preflop: Hes loose so i'd just 3x unless you've been min raising instead of 3x the previous hands Flop: seems okay could maybe have the bet 65 thats about it i thinkTurn: same as flop looks fine to meRiver: since he checks the bet is okay tho i tihnk you are making it way to big only worse hand i see calling is Tx and pockets, maybe 4x since if hes going to call flop and turn i don't think hes going to fold it on the river. you says he pushes it when he have it, what hands have you seen he had when he pushes if you've seen top pair or str8, two pair, trips etc ?. Assuming that it have been good hands such as trips etc I think the correct play would be to fold when c/jams since given your reads it really looks like a set of 3's River became bit of a mess hope it still make sense
I made it 2x because I did it the whole time. I was not sure at the moment if he is loose passive or loose aggressiv, because once he called three streets with bottom pair, but 3 times he checkraised my cbet. My toughts on betting the full pot on the river were that he certainly is gonna call me with 10x and to a high percentage with 4x. You soulread his hand ;), he had 93s; but the outcome is not imortant to me. The main question remains: Is he pushing the river with A10,, K10, Q10, J10 or weired played 104, or really weired played overair. Am I ever ahead? Or is this always a hand I can't beat?
haven't played enough to argue wether or not 4x would fold here. but if you say he called 3 barrels with buttom pair i assume that THIS guy could call with 4x. as for your question: i think he would raise either the flop or the turn with 10x instead of waiting to the river so don't think your ahead of anything etting it in here alot besides against QQ and KK maybe jacks
I would go ahead and just 3x preflop unless you have history from previous games. OTR b/f look really standard, not many bluffs get here and do this, it's likely a better hand 100%, i wouldn't xpect him to c/r Tx hardly ever here. I think your line aside from that is good.
