=================================================HAND #7Another very long game vs very tight passive. What is best here? openshove, minraise and fold to shove or limp and play postflop?Villain was really passive, just calling with Top pair+Good kicker.I thought that if I minraise, I wont fold to shove, so I'd better shove now and have good fold EQ preflop. Hi, here are just the ideas of a noob that plays the 5.25$. I am trying to go through your hands and tell you my ideas, butplease don't take my input to serious. Hand 1)If I would try to win this hand, I would raise the flop, because maybe I have the best Hand already and can bring hands that have the equity of there overcards to fold. I think another problem of just calling is, that there is no Card except the deuce that is a blank. How do you procede when you make your flush? Stack off? If called when I raise the flop I shut down hoping my flushdraw is good and the hand gets checked down. Hand 2)I think you played the Hand fine Hand 3)I think that A6o is not the ideal hand to 3-bet with. A hand like k10, KJ, KQ, QJ is muche better, because it's much more easier to flop top pair and it is easier to play from out of position. Your hand plays very bad if e.g. the flop comes 6 10 J. The article regarding 3-bet/4-bet on two plus two could also give you an idea about polarized ranges to 3-bet pre. As you played you should c-bet this flop imo. Hand 4)Good Hand to 3-bet if the dynamic of the table is a raise / 3-bet war. I c-bet and 2nd barrell on this turn. I think it is pretty weak if you 3-bet and then shut down. Villains will pick up on this and call your 3-bets much lighter Hand 5)Fine as I know (Edit: didn't see in first place that you limp, raise these hands Hand 6)Oop I would use this hand to call him down and let him bluff off his money. As you played I don't understand why you donked the river. You could induce a bluff by checking, you will be called only by better hands. Or was this a kind of a blocking bet? Then I would maybe bet under 300. Hand 7)Easy shove with 13bb eff according to NASH
Hand 1; I check/ fold the flop with these lowpairs when I miss.Hand 2; I think it is fine he doesn't raise you that big and I think it is fine to call. Turn fold is fine.Hand 3; Vs a minraiser I am not willing to 3bet A6o, I think you can better call preflop. But if youre 3betting him than I would definetly bet the flop.Hand 4; And again I am not 3betting JTs I think you can better call these hands vs a minraiser. I think when he is opening bigger you can 3bet him better with these hands but i do not prefer it.Hand 5; I would definetly open this hand, I think it isn't good on the low limits to limp these hands ur you must have a good read that villain is very agressive and raising your limps often(but since it is the 3th hand I would raise). When you are willing to 2nd barrel here then i think you must make youre betsize bigger. You bet on the flop 30 in 40 (75%) you go on to the turn where the hand isn't improving and when you think you still have the best hand I would bet here like 70.Hand 6; Youre donkbet on the flop is fine, maybe even you can check/ call. The turncard is in my opion a card where you can slowndown cause what called you on the flop, isn't improved on the turn so it is better to check/ call the turn in my opion. when villain is raising me here then you must think about his handrange, what called me on the flop and is raising me on the turn. This could be a straightdraw, he could hit his 4x maybe some better Qx, and bluffs. I don't believe a 5 would raise here, so I don't think youre are ahead off his range so, but while he can have some bluffs and (combo)draws I would call his raise and look at the river. The river complete the straightdraw, and while he showed aggression on the turn I would definetly check to him and see what he does on the river and when is making a large bet I would definetly fold the river maybe a low betsize I would call but I am certainly not happy calling or donkbetting in to him on the river.Hand 7; I think it is okay to shove, but maybe you could consider about minraising and see what villain does. I am shoving K8s on 10 or 11 bb or less
Hand 1 - has he opened any of his other buttons? sizing? cbet sizing? As played I don't really like it. I would prefer a c/f on the flop as even if you do make your flush it's the nut low. Turn, not sure what your trying to represent but his turn bet looks like its a value bet so if you do decide to float flop then fold turn. When you c/r the turn what do you think villain is likely to fold? I think 7x and 2x will check behind on the turn, Qx may fold. Hand 2 - First off is cbetting 3/4 your standard? As played - if villain seems tight I doubt he is c/r a worse draw or Jx here so your really only looking to make your straight - so with implied odds I would call and fold turn unimproved (as i think at these stakes villain wouldn't be able to get away from his hand if you hit).Hand 3 - Don't think I would 3bet this pre, but it really depends how villain responds th 3bets. You could 3bet this as a bluff (I think i would make it slightly bigger - 140-160) as you have blockers to Ax, but I would want to make sure villain folds to a decent amount of 3bets. However, villain is minr a wide range up to this point so i would probably just flat.Hand 4 - Again 3betting here depends on villain's calling range and how they play post. I would prefer a flat. As played I would cbet the flop a little over 1/2 pot. Turn... it's a good card to rep as a lot of Ax seems to be in your range, but think you should bet a little bigger on the flop and then be prepared to barrel the turn. Again - unsure if this would be the correct play as we don't have too much info on villains 3bet flatting range. If villain is flatting a lot of 3bets than just widen you 3betting range 88+, KJ+, KTs+, QJ+, A9s+, ATo+. You could 3bet JTs here if he's calling wide enough, but I would prefer a flat.Hand 5 - Really unsure why you limp QQ early with large effective stacks - Raise pre, as you want to build a pot to get stacks in. As played - it looks ok - unsure if I would bet river when checked too (I think i would).Hand 6 - Flop is really dry so unsure why you donked into him. Turn could be a fold readless. Also dont like the river donk and agree with Monk - if it's a blocking bet then you could get away with a smaller bet. Just be aware if you plan on making a blocking bet then you are bet/folding and a small be might induce something.Hand 7 - looks good, if vilain is tight shove a wide range.
