I want to thank all coaches, and specially Ryan for all their efforts in answering my questions, my hand histories and of course for the videos. One thing I can tell you for sure: Your coaching site improved my game drastically. I am doing 2 hours of video study every day + posting hands and reviewing my sessions for another hour. The downside is that I play half the volume I played before, but hey, at least my decisions are better than ever.As you can see from my statistics I have won around 436$ + Rakeback since playing the 5.25$ regular games at Full Tilt, and Today I reached the final table of the 5.5$ speed shootout (where we split) for another 80$. So I have won 600$ playing this low stakes. Here are my graphs. One since I started playing and one since I joined husng.com - I love my ROI since I joined husng.com (ok, sample size is not big, but I am feeling fine).http://img812.imageshack.us/i/sincehusngcommember.png/http://img843.imageshack.us/f/stats26012011.png/Tomorrow I will play my last day of 5.25$ - on Friday I start with the 10.5$. Wish me luck! My goal at the new limit: Winning at least 500$ before moving up to the next limit. Next week I will move to Spain for a month, but office and Internet Access is set up for me to grind!!!
Gl mate,You should have no problem at all at the 10s with the reasoning and attitude you're showing.Where in Spain are you going? It's my country :)
@nicoaspamettla de mar (180km south from Barcelona). A friend of mine has a really big house directly on the beach with a own little port and sea access. But he lives in Austria and sometimes neads a housesitter, so me poor boy have to go there :) I am planning to just do sport, grind, read good books and cook fantastic and fresh spanish food. Then I will go to Barcelona or the 5th (Barcelona - Atletico Madrid) or 19th of February (Barcelona - Atl. Bilbao) for one soccer game. Nicoasp, Where are you living in Spain?
Glad to hear of your continued success, nice work.Don't sell yourself short, putting in the focused time that you did is what is allowing you to have this type of improvement and success. The site will help, but only if people put in the work required to take full advantage of it, and I believe you have. Nice job.
Hey nice to see you are doing great. But got a little question about reviewing your hands how do you do this? Youre reviewing every match you played or you looking trough PT or/ and HM? I have problems with sticking to reviewing and studying lately so maybe you got some nice tips.
I go through the hand replayer in hem. I make really short sessions, but at least 3 a day, 4-6 games; and I do the review immediately after every session - so that I have the reads and game flow still in mind. Then I filter out the Pots where I lose or win more then 5BB per Hand and replay the hands. After that I post hands where I don't know what i was doing and why in the forum (excluded the hands I played really really bad, where I know what the mistake was - and I am surprised every day what kind of mistakes I make in the heat of a game).I make no difference if I won or lost a hand, i just review if my decision was a good one.I think a leak many players have is to just look at hands they lost.Once or twice a week I go through my hands with a certain topic in mind, often inspired by Videos. I did review my hands regarding- how did I react on donk bets (on different board textures, different opponents, different eff stacks etc) - mjw006 Video inspired me- how did I play mid strength hands (J8o-J9o-JTo, q8o-q9o, T8, T9 and similar) after a minraise oop (you can filter this hands in hem). I think it was a mersenneary video that made me think of this hands- I filtered hands by blind level and reviewed which blind levels I have the most profit (surprisingly I am a big winner at every limit, except the 30/60 where I am break even). I think that is because I have to plug leaks 20-25BB deept- I filtered the hands by weekday, and not surprisingly discovered that Friday, Saturday and Sunday I have the biggest ROI. Surprisingly Mondays I struggle; this datas have to small sample sizes. But even while playing I have the feeling that Monday is the day where bad players are done from the weekend, and the others all try to play better because a new week just beganThe next reviews i will take the next concept videos as an inspiration.I am so used to review my sessions now, that I feel it as a part of it. I think when I am through the videos, I can live with a ratio learning to grinding 1:4, but for now and the next months its more a 2:3.
Well thank you very much for youre reply I really got some good things out of this. You gave me a good idea about the sessions from about 4-6 games and then the review right after the matches it is a great idea. So many thanks and goodluck with youre move up
