Folding Trips? 6.25$ Turbo HU

Not really sure if I should fold this hand on the river like I did, and other question if I should raise the turn. I called the turn, because I felt like being in a way ahead / way behind situation. Of course he could flat me with A high on this board, but the A also completes the straight, and river completes Flush Draw (one hand, the Axs made so much sense to his line). I could see no hand playing all in on the river that I can beat.Villain played pretty solid until this point. I had no reason to think he is spewy   $15.00/$30.00 No Limit Holdem • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBVillain$1500.00  BTNHero$1500.00  Effective Stacks: 50bb Pre-Flop ($45.00, 2 players) Hero is BTN Hero raises to $60.00, Villain calls $30.00 Flop ($120.00, 2 players) Villain checks, Hero bets $90.00, Villain calls $90.00 Turn ($300.00, 2 players) Villain bets $120.00, Hero calls $120.00 River ($540.00, 2 players) Villain goes all-in $1230.00, Hero folds

Hi there! :) Weeell... Pre

Hi there! :)Weeell... Pre and on the flop I'd play that hand pretty similar, maybe make the bet on the flop a biiiiit smaller, but 3/4 is still fine, I guess. On the turn I don't agree with your thoughts. There are so many cards you don't wanna see on the river (every club, every spade, A, Q, T). So I'd reraise to get value from his Ax hands and maybe some of his draws. I think we'll have the best hand on the turn most of the time.As played I'm kinda confused by his big openshove/overbet on the river... I guess I'd interpret that rather as weakness than strenght and go ahead and call, but... Hm. Tough spot.I like the hand and I'm looking forward to the discussion!btw: What do you mean by solid? A good thinking player or just a rather tight player?Good luck at the tables, crstn!

pre fine, flop fine, raise

pre fine, flop fine, raise turn big and get it in, river fine. His turn bet seems to me that he would like to buy a cheap river. Definately raise turn for value, because I don't see him having a lot of hands he donks with that you are not ahead of.I see a lot of villains shove very strong made hands in this spot, so I don't think there would be any value in looking him up on the river.
