We've decided to make this forum public for the time being. Here is the reasoning behind this. Feel free to ask any questions or leave any comments after reading through this post:- We believe this will encourage more visitors to post hands and participate in the community.- We do not believe that this will impact members negatively at all. As of now, every hand posted in both the member and non member forum is usually answered by a coach or a skilled member. If this changes to where members are not receiving the same level of advice on posted hands as they were previously, this decision will change so that members continue to receive the same level of advice on their posted hands. This shouldn't be a major issue unless the amount of hands posted rises tremendously, and there are a few things that can be done to keep good answers coming for hand questions if that even happens.- If members still wish to post hands in the member forums, they may and that is perfectly fine. Thanks guys.
Hi Ryan, I cannot see how to join this forum(HH review).Thans a lot!!!David
This is the HH review forum (where this thread is).I'm not sure I understand though, please rephrase it or expand.
When I clic on forum (the green icon) , I can see 2 choice : General questions and Rakeback forum (In the Non-Members Forums section)I was thinking about seeing a third choice : HH review . But I don't.But new posts in this forum seem to appear in the bottom section of the home page(New Forum Topics).I'm sorry for the disagrement if i'm wrong about that.I know you will understand my problems to clearly write what I think (bad english but better since I go on this site)Thank you Ryan and ,again, nice job on this site!!!David
It is nice and I understand this change could be great for the visibility of the site as well as upping up the traffic (more hands review to comments and look at).As long as the quality of the answers provided doesnt drop I am happy. I mean, what I really like about this site (the quality of the videos aside of course) is that almost every answers are serious and helpful; most of the time, people are trying to describe their thought process and how do they think about the hand. It would be shame if HUSNG.com becomes a little 2+2 (no offense intended) where, most of the time, you have to look, between all the rubbish/bashing/ego/offtopic, the serious answers that are actually trying to help the OP.But since this site is very well moderated, I have good faith it is not going to happen.Cheers!
Agreed with everything bonafontz. We're not trying to be better here in any way, just different, more training and efficiency focused. A few new things should help with that. And hands will keep getting answered. If the forum "blows up" with some massive traffic and hand discussion, it's likely a few more coaches/high stakes players will be posting at that time anyways, and if not I can make that happen one way or another. So I don't forsee any negatives happening by making this forum public. If it ever gets really busy we can split it into two forums, public and member, or low and mid/high stakes, etc. But for now, I like a smaller # of forums.
So basically, while you do see the comments on the bottom of the main page (it should show all comments visible to you, IE if you're a member you'll see all member and non member forum comments, if you're not a member you'll just see non member comments), you're not seeing the HH forum listed in the non member forums on the "forum" page as my pictures do below. Here's a picture of what it looks like to me, when logged in with firefox. This picture shows what it looks like to me when I am NOT logged in and on IE8 rather than firefox.I would suggest clearing your cookies and cache, try logging in again and see if your screen looks like mine. Please do report back though, this is helpful so that anybody else with similar issues can be helped (and perhaps we can find a way to make sure nobody has this issue in the first place).
Ok I fixed something, when I'm logged out, It' ok ,I see it.But, when I'm logged in , I cannot see the HHreview forum. I tried with IE and firefox and had same results.I'll check out on another pc tomorrow.Thans a lot for your quick awnser.David
Did you clear cookies and cache in your browser? If you can take a screenshot of what you're seeing too that might be helpful.
I cleared cookies and caches files: same problem.I went on a friend to try on his 3 day's new lap top and have same result. When im logged out , I see exactly the screenshot you post.(all is ok). When I'm logged in, I only see General Questions and the Rakeback Forum.I pick up a screen shot and simply have problem to put in there.Thank you for support, I'll work on that again and give you feedback if I can fix it.David
If you are logged in but don't have a subscription you can't see the HH review
Thanks, I'll have our webmaster take a look at this. Thanks for the feedback here guys.
