Interesting hand...what level of game is this? It looks like there's a few possibilities. After check calling the flop and check raising the turn, I'd think more often than not he has one of two different possiblities - either the open ended straight draw with 3-5 that hits the turn, or a gutshot with 3-6 or 5-6 that he called with and on the turn thinks his 6 is good. Obviously on the turn you'd hope he hit the 6 and not the straight, but with the 6 on the river these hands flip flop in rank. After his check raise on the turn, I'd be more inclined to put him on hitting his 6 and thinking that you're betting a 4, bluffing, or drawing. After his check on the river, though, I think it's very possible that he did hit his straight and is worried that he was counterfeited.Either way, I don't try and induce a shove on the river here. If he's bluffing, missed a draw, or had a four, I doubt he's check raising again here. If he hit the straight, he's probably going to just smooth call and pay you off. If I bet the river, I'd fire out a larger bet here so that if he does check raise you, you know he means business. At the same time, he'll probably still pay you off with the 3-5 if that's what he's holding. How did the rest of the hand play out?
well it's a 2 dollar but i don't put to much thought into that, minor leak.yea should have included the entire hand actually since the purpose of this thread was figuring out what he had, he folded .
Since he folded a flush draw is one obvious possibility. But in reality he could've called the flop with many over card combos and decided to take a stab at bluffing the turn after you fired 2 barrels (and that may even be good strategy against you, depending on your aggression levels with various hand types on turns like this).
