Is a 2% edge enough for an all in within a HU sitngo given the cost of rake?

Hi i have read from many good players that we should push any edge in poker. But i had a situation in the late game where my oponent had to high overs to my 33 i pushed his raise ( he had been raising a lot!)  before i RR him all in. Initially i was happy i had a fractional edge. It then occured to me that it would not be enough to cover the cost of rake? Cost of entry $11.50c and my share ev return$22/ 100 * 52   =  $ 11.44 ie i lose 0.06c per game to rake even with my edge? Is my thinking correct here?  Am i missing something?  Is a 2% edge only ok when whe have a substantial chip advantage to give us the extra edge of a comeback should we lose the flip? The question then?  Do we have a minimum edge required when equal in chips? Thx Richard

Folding this hand is worst

Folding this hand is worst than your thin edge imo.If you have folding equity, its a clear +ev reshove.(at least under 20-25bb)Think about the best play possible. For other questions, I think you have to understand effective stack concept. Its just my own point of view.A coach will certainely give us the wright thought about thatDavid

You also have to realize that

You also have to realize that once there are chips in the pot your true "better than folding" requirements are lower than 50%, sometimes much lower (depending on how many chips you have in the pot and what's remaining in the stacks). So if you 3bet to say 200 and your opponent shoves for the last 600 chips, you need to loosen your "minimum equity needed' otherwise you'll be making too many bad folds. What Laroutchez says is also important to keep in mind, if a guy is only 3betting 72o and AA, and he folds 72o when you shove over his 3bet, you don't estimate only your equity against AA when called, but you also need to account for the chips you pick up when he folds his 72o.
