Carbon (Merge), UB/AP

Carbon (Merge), UB/AP (Cereus)**, Cake are three rooms with very soft and decent heads up sng action.** UB/AP has had and continue to have issues that originally stemmed from cheating that took place on their room at a very wide scale two separate times in the past.  There is still a lot of negativity coming out of that scandal, with new lies and a few new "did they really just screw players again" things that have happened a few times.  I won't play there, but people I know do play there and are happy with the 30% rakeback and soft games.Cake I believe has 33% rakeback and Carbon has 35%.  Our deal of the month on the main page allows you to rake only 100 MGR on Carbon to receive a free membership to our site.

i know, that titan poker

i know, that titan poker offers super turbo...  but it should be called super super turbo.... blinds change every minute and rake is 5%, which is pretty high for a super turbo

thanks

thanks for your input guys im taking a few weeks off to refocus, research, and find a good site to start back on again... I had a great end to 2010 going on great run for the last 3 months of 2010... The last 3 months have been pretty rough I put a lot of time in and have been researching, learning, and taking as many notes as possible and trying to implement them into my game.... Ive had an extremely modest start to 2011 winning only around 2500 and feel extremely burnt out from poker specifically husngs....Due to that and some pretty bizzarre issues with ftp and pokerstars deposit/withdraw issues that i wont go into. So i decided to just empty my accounts on stars and ftp and take a few weeks off from poker ( I always say/ think that i will but never actually take a good amount of time off and i think this hurts my game and psychology a bit...) I took a few huge shots that were way over my limit in 2011 due to being burnt out and just overall not putting in the type of sessions ive been wanting to...I will most likely go on UB/ Cake since they both have good rakeback and they also have superturbos i believe... The biggest concern I have is not enough traffic between sites but i dont think that should be a problem since i will come back grinding mid stakes probably 10-35 dollar games to get my roll up to start....Im also taking some good advice to start playing and learning a new format of poker I just got a dueces cracked membership and I am going to start researching a lot of ring games to try to improve my deep stack cash game play which i think i have solid game at these blind levels and I think it will motivate me more and will be a good change of pace for my game to be grinding something besides heads up which can really burn you out at times.... The last Thing I wanted to ask directed towards the more expierenced players ....Do  You professional grinders ever find yourself too burnt out after weeks/months of straight grinding... Do you think it even hurts your game to possibly be playing too much / or thinking too much and overall just too large a portion of your life focused towards poker And do you ever just take a week or so off to revaluate  your play and the types of sessions youve been having... Thanks for all your input and hope to learn more from you guys and I will be searching for a new site to start on thanks...

Hi babyfeeg, The 100 MGR is

Hi babyfeeg,The 100 MGR is essentially rake paid.  I don't believe Carbon deducts as much as other poker rooms out of rake paid when calculating MGR, so it should be pretty close to 100 in rake paid required during any month.I believe Carbon also pays rakeback daily.

Is it possible to beat micro

Is it possible to beat micro stake super turbos at Titan poker? there are a lot of bad player but the rake is 5% and levels are changing every minute.I want to play those but I will give up if they not profitable

RyPac13's picture
Not likely too profitable.

Not likely too profitable.  Not likely worth playing without 50-60% rakeback equivalent (I don't think you can get that high there either).

It's shady that they even

It's shady that they even offer such games. It benefits them and hurts all their players.

A lot of rooms are nothing

A lot of rooms are nothing more than casinos that happen to offer poker as an extra way to make money and attract casino players.  And they will maximize the exploitation of the poker players in the face of seemingly any outcry.

hiawis's picture
Yeah one minute levels and 5%

Yeah one minute levels and 5% rake indeed but IPokers super turbos also have 1500 chips and blinds starting from 10/20 so I think that makes them a bit better...

Merge sites like Carbon and

Merge sites like Carbon and Lock have good reputations in their deposit and withdrawal transaction. Also in Black Chips as I have played a lot their and have already made a couple of deposits and withdrawals. Just not sure if HUSNG supports it.

Love it
